Cold - armin x reader (part 3)

It's been a nearly 9 months since I found out I was pregnant it's definitely not been easy with the weird cravings, morning sickness, the moodiness Ect... but it's going to be so worth it when I give birth which should be anytime now and the best part armin has been by my side the whole time. He's been so sweet getting me what I want, helping me when I need it.

I was in the mess hall talking to mikasa, when I feel a strange sensation, I don't think anything of it pregnancy comes with a lot of strange feelings. Suddenly I feel something pop I look down to see liquid flowing out of me creating a puddle underneath me. I gasp horrified, mikasa quickly starts yelling for help. A bunch of people rush in and see my situation and start helping. They take me to the medic bay where over the past few month had been prepared for this day. "Armin, someone get armin" I say, one person sprints off, the others help me sit on the bed and get me a gown, when the door suddenly burst open. "(Y/N)!" Armin yells "here" I say quietly he rushes over almost tripping over his own feet. "Is everything ok, they just said to come quick and something had happened" he pants out of breath clearly to have been running as fast as he could. "I'm okay but my water broke" Armin gasps "you mean are little one is going to make an appearance" I nod. Armin wraps his arms around me, the others take there leave. "Now let's get you cleaned up and into this" he says grabbing the gown.

Armin tentatively removes my clothes and cleans my thighs with a cloth and helps me into the gown. He places a gentle kiss on my forehead. A few minutes later the doctor comes in with my dad, "hey (y/n) todays the day huh" she jokes, I nod. "Already let's find out how far along you are", she examines me. "Alright your in active labour, it would be best for you to remain upright at this to help things along" she explains to me. Me and armin decide to take a little walk around hq, armin on one of side of me, my dad on the other.

We continue walking around stopping whenever a contraction hits me. After awhile of walking around I feel myself getting to weak to stand so we slowly make our way back to my room. The guys help me back onto the bed and it's almost go time. About another hour goes by and I'm feeling very intense pressure down bellow, I voice this feeling to the guys and my dad goes and gets the doctor. She checks me again "alright your fully dilated it's go time" she calls in her nurses and the worst pain imaginable begins, my dad on side and armin on the other i start pushing.

This goes in for and hour waiting for the contractions then pushing as hard as I can my nails digging into either my dad or boyfriends hand. I can tell armin is holding back saying 'ow' or 'ouch' as I dig my claws into him but he stays strong for me and he know he's only feeling a tiny bit of pain compared to what I'm going through.

After what feels like forever our little baby is born into this world "it's a girl" the doctor announced they place her on my chest as they wipe her clean "would the father like to cut the cord" the nurse says looking at armin holding the tool out to him. He nods his eyes watery, he cuts the cord. They carry her over to a small bench to be examined, cleaned up properly and weighed. I can see my dad keeping a close eye on his new granddaughter 'he's always been protective'. A few minutes later they hand her back to be wrapped up in a pink blanket with a pink hat on. "She's perfectly healthy" the doctor announces "thank you" I say to her she nods and mentions needing to wait for the placenta, before leaving to give us some privacy.

I stare at my new daughter my heart full of love "she's perfect" I say trying not to cry "she is" armin sniffs, I look up at him to see him crying. "Any ideas for a name?" My dad says a rare smile on his lips. "I was thinking Luna" I say "that's perfect" they both say "I have an idea for a middle name" armin says sheepishly "what is it?" I ask. He whispers it in my ear, I giggle that's perfect "Luna ocean ackerman" "perfect" I hear my dad mumble "would you like to hold your daughter" I say to armin "I errr I'm not sure how"he says nervously "just hold her like I am" I let him see how I'm holding her before carefully passing her to him. Once he has her I can see his eyes shinning with pure love "I love you angel" he says gently kissing her little forehead.

"I can't believe your a mum darling" Levi say stroking my hair "I can't believe your a grandfather" I reply back "I know I'm not that old" me and armin both giggle at his remark "would you like a hold?" Armin says to Levi, he gladly accepts and holds his baby granddaughter "it's been a long time since I held a baby" he says more to himself then us. Eventually Luna makes her way back to me, then something amazing happens. She opens her little eyes "look at her eyes" i says amazed at there colour "they look just like mine" armin says excitedly. I move her little hat back to see small tuffs of blonde hair "looks like she has your hair to"I comment "really!" Armin says ecstatic "yup" I say "hopefully she'll have our strength" Levi comments "but not your attitude" I snap back. He snickers "you've got it to" he retorts, we all laugh.

Eventually I'm all fit and ready to go after a few days in the medical bay and armin wheels me back to our room, it was decided it would be best for us to share a room as to better take care of the baby. Armin places Luna in her crib and helps me to bed as I'm still recovering. It's a big adjustment but we get into a routine over the next couple of weeks.

Next thing will be for Luna to meet the others.

Boom another one, I'm glad to finally get this done.
