Armin pov It was past curfew but I needed some water so I sneak out my room to the kitchen and grab a glass and fill it, I spend a few minutes drinking my water. I stretch, clean my glass and head back to my room but on my way I see someone sneak outside, I decide to sneakily follow I get to the door and look out cautiously to see it's (y/n) 'why would she be sneaking about?'. She disappears into the tree line so I move out into the dark, i tip toed in the direction she went to discover she hadn't gone far. She was kneeling on the ground her right arm doing strange movements near her left.
I sneak around her to try to see what she doing as I can't see standing behind her, but I'm horrified and heartbroken when I see what shes doing. She's cutting her arm with what looks like a piece of broken odm gear blade, blood trickles down her arm onto the ground, i quickly get over the shock and dive out of cover to stop her. I grab her right wrist pulling it away from her left, grabbing her right hand as to not put my hand on her cuts which I'm sure sting. "Armin?" She sounds so broken as tears trickle down her cheeks, I act fast and grab the blade from her throwing it away into a bush 'I'll get it tomorrow' "(y/n)...let's get you cleaned up" I say not wanting to ask questions yet as she's already overwhelmed.
I pull her to her feet she doesn't resist 'she exhausted, she must of taken all her emotions out on her arm' I gently lead her inside into the medical bay and sit her on one the beds, I grab a medical kit and place it next to her starting by cleaning up the dried and fresh blood. "What made you do this angel?" I ask quietly dapping the damp cloth on her arm "I'm so tired, so, so tired, we live are lives the same everyday wake up, eat, train, eat, sleep repeat all for the reason to go outside and likely die being told it's for the good of humanity but all the lives we've lost so far have done nothing. It's the only way I can think of to let the pain out" I look up at her to see she's just staring blankly at the floor.
I just look at her for about a minute before leaning close to her and just nuzzling my head against hers. I apply some balm to her wounds and wrap them, then bring her into my arms "I'm here for you love please if your ever feeling like this please come to me I don't care if you come to me in the middle of training or it be late at night like it is now, please and I beg you please! Come to me instead." I say desperately, I feel her arms slowly wrap around she starts crying then sobbing. "It's ok let it out" I lay down on the bed and bring her with me holding her close as she sobs all her feeling out.
About 10 minutes go by and now she's calmed down "thank you armin" she whispers "no problem (y/n)" she leans in and gives me a sweet kiss, then lets out a yawn. "Tired?" She just nods "let's go to my room" 'I don't care if we get in trouble we need each other right now' she nods we both her up and start walking to my room hand in hand. "How did you find me anyway? Why were you awake?" She suddenly asks "I woke up needing some water so i went and got some on my way back to my room I spotted you, I didn't notice it was you at first Tho" I say smiling.
We reach my room and quietly climb in bed snuggling up to each other. I don't know what's gonna happen next one of us may die outside the wall but I will try my best for us to enjoy the time we have together and to make (y/n) happy.
She's my sweet ocean.
