It was another expedition I was riding along with my squad Levi, eren, mikasa and my boyfriend armin. Not much had happened until things started going very wrong, a crazy abnormal came out of nowhere and it seemed to have its eyes locked on me. I ride my horse for my life dodging left and right until it knock me off my horse and crushed it, it quickly grabbed me and shoved me in its mouth. I scream in terror and quickly stab my blade into its tongue and it tries to swallow me alive. I starts slipping 'I'm dead, I'm so dead, I'm sorry armin I promised I'd stay alive and we would see the ocean together, I'm sorry...'.

Just as I'm about to accept my fate the Titan suddenly stops trying to swallow me and falls to the ground 'it's dead?!' "HELP" i screech putting my blade back in its place and climb to the front of the titans mouth and try to open its mouth without success. "(Y/n)?" I hear a muffled voice say "HELP IM IN HERE HELP ME PLEASE" I scream begging. I hear frantic foot steps and muffles urgent voices, the mouth of the Titan start moving "3, 2, 1!" I hear from outside. The titans mouth cracks open, I quickly reach out in hope someone will help me out I feel someone grab my wrist and pull me outside the dead Titan mouth we both fall to the ground me ending up on top of them I look up to see eren looking at me shock in his eyes.

"(Y/N)!!!!" I hear someone screech I look over and see armin sprinting towards me his face a tear covered mess. He grabs me in a death grip squeezing me tightly not caring I'm covered in Titan saliva I squeeze him back just as hard. The reality of what just almost happened suddenly hits me and burst out crying sobbing into armins shoulder 'I WAS ALMOST EATEN'. "Looks like Erwin sent up the retreat signal let's go. (L/n) you ride with arlert your horse was crushed and I think you need each other right now" I just nod not being able to speak. Armin let's go and grabs my hand pulling me over to his horse getting on then helping me up, I cling to his back hiding my face breathing in his sweet sent of vanilla. We all follow Levi and meet with the rest of the scouts making it back without much hassle.

Time skip
It was now late in the evening I had showered and put on fresh clothes, I'm not just sitting on my bed thinking about what happened today. When my thoughts are interrupted by a knock, the door opens and armin pokes his head in "um hi" he say sheepishly stepping into the room shutting the door being him "hi" I say blandly back. He takes a deep breath "come here" he says opening his arms coming towards me I open mine and he climbs on the bed and holds me close to his chest "I almost lost you" I hear him mumble "I know, I'm sorry" I mumble back "please don't apologise...please" he whimpers pulling me closer I just nod. We fall back onto the bed and cling to each other just savouring each other company as we slip into unconsciousness.

After todays close call it's more apparent then ever how we can be ripped away from each other in a instant so we must savour the moment we do have together.
