"... Huh?"
"Y-Yes... I... I love you."

I couldn't believe that I stuttered when I finally told her what I've been feeling for her. Her eyes were blank but her brows were furrowed, causing me to flinch a little. After a few moments, her eyes widened as she covered her mouth with her palm in shock. I didn't know how I should explain myself to her, considering that I just told her the truth out of nowhere.

I was a little unfocused about it but... finally, she knows about it now.

"... What do you mean?"

She asks as her eyes started to wander around the corners of the van. I felt my heart pound heavily once again, nervous that she might reject me because I am way too out of her league. I mean, I'm literally a severely mentally damaged criminal who still thinks like a kid. Well, at least it's pretty reasonable to reject me because I probably can't handle relationships.

But with her? I have a feeling that I can.

"... It's been so long since I've been wanting to tell you how much I love you. It was since the day you entered my cell, you were just so different from the other officers. You gave me a goal... You gave me the will to live and you became my friend."

I really wanted to convince her that what I was feeling was true. She probably thinks that I'm confused... that this is all one big infatuation. No! It's not... I really do love her and I'm willing to do everything for her.

"... Well, I had friends but... I felt special whenever I was with you? I kind of fell in love at first sight because... you're really... you're really dedicated to your job and you look pretty when you do it."

I said with a joking tone, shrugging my shoulders as she tilted her head with a slight smile on her face.

"You never made me feel like a convicted murderer or a person still dwelling in trauma... but more like myself."

I say, causing her to scratch the back of her head before placing her index finger on the top of her lips.

"Look, we'll talk about all of this later, okay? I just can't focus right now but... give me some time to think about my response because I'm not sure of how I'm gonna handle this but I will handle it, okay?"

She answers with a nervous laugh as I nod, returning her a small smile.

"Take your time, Y/N... You know that I'll wait for you."

I stared at the floor, trying to convince myself that maybe this... wasn't the time. She sighs hesitantly as Officer Kim from the second row of the seats suddenly snaps his fingers, causing all of us to look up at him in surprise.

"Taeyong, is this the place?"
"... Yes, Sir."

I answered as he nodded, later rising up from his seat as he seemed like he was having a hard time looking around the place. Well, it was still midnight so it's really dark outside.

"... Where do we enter? This building looks like a fucking cylinder and none of us is familiar with this building. I didn't even know that a building like this exists."

He says as I look around the details of the building. Every "hiding spot" or "workspace" that Alex owns is formed into this cylinder design in the corners of unknown streets. It was designed to look like a normal factory... Well... it is a factory of childhood trauma honestly.

I later noticed the black little door handle by the front but I knew that he'd know that we're here... that the police is here.

I mean, I do know that he works "full-time".
