The moment I told him my last message, the officers quickly made their way inside of the cell as they removed the chains from the glass panels. That son of a bitch stared at me with widened eyes as the officers proceeded to lock both of his wrists in handcuffs. It was fascinating to see him in such a hopeless yet familiar state. He knew that he had no chance of escaping this prison.

And I knew that he'd be having a hard time in prison with dangerous inmates.

"Where the fuck are you taking me?!"

He yells, struggling to get away from the police.

"You'll be transferred to the public department because you don't have any past clinical records that may help you have your own cell."
"What?!"

He yells once more, trying to escape the officers' tight grasps as I smile to myself. He looked at me with fire in his eyes like he's a pyromaniac.

Well, I'm quite lucky to have a clinical background with trauma even if I've been beaten up to a pulp before. At least, I didn't face that much trauma here and even had some friends after the fight with Yuto.

Yuto probably doesn't even remember me anymore.

"What's the problem, Alex? Can't handle what it's like to be restrained and treated like an animal? I didn't know that your egoistic self is actually weaker than I am!"

I mocked as he tried to run towards me yet failing because of the cuffs.

"Don't you even care about me, Taeyong?!"

Alex was furious while I only let out a chuckle.

"... Well, why should I care? Did you care when you purposely tried to fucking drown me? Did you care when my face was pushed against the drain? Did you care when I disagreed yet you still forced me to like what you were doing to me?! No, I didn't and we both knew that."

I say, walking towards him as I cross my arms.

"I'm a little soft but I'm all for being cruel too, especially when it's all because of you."

I lightly shove his shoulder away as the officers finally lead him out of the cell. I sat there for a while as I looked around to see a familiar bag placed at the left corner of the room. This was my cell before but since I was about to be free from prison, I didn't know last night would be my last stay here. Suddenly, I felt a hand on top of my shoulder as I turned around to see Jungwoo giving me a smile.

"Are you ready to go home?"

He asks as I tilt my head.

"... Of course? But where?"

I was unsure as he gave me a single nod, later walking towards the side. I noticed my grandparents and my cousin standing at the entrance of the room with genuine smiles on their faces as I gave them a smile in relief. I looked back at the paper bag, having the urge to just get inside the cell and take it with me. Obviously, I wanted to keep the gifts she gave me.

I mean, if I didn't have those gifts, I'm probably in the worst condition right now.

"Um... Jungwoo? Can you do me a favor?"

I say, putting my hands down my pockets in nervousness as Jungwoo hums in response.

"Sure, what favor?"

He asks as I lean against the glass panel, pointing my finger towards the paper bag.

"... Can you pick that up for me? I really want to take the gifts back home."
"Oh, alright."
