To share your weakness is to make yourself vulnerable; to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength.

Since the battle was cloaked in victory but is disguised as mockery, the pack that struggled arduously for the past months has reached a bottleneck. It was a slap in the face for them to be treated as fools as they ran for things they thought they could easily attain.

The same blood lingers in their skin, souls that were not given justice clung to them like heavy chains and sooner or later, they would see a massacre being relieved in their eyes if they still didn't find the threat.

Their wolves were getting restless, tension has submerged into their homes but the question of whether it is still fit to fight for when they are hopeless like this rang through their ears.

Humans were always curious beings, they are also some of the cruelest beings that landed on this earth. They were losing hope but they have not lost hope in humanity, they can see that they are changing and that they are truly protecting nature little by little.

It was the only thought that they held on to, a life-saving straw that made them continue to protect those who wish to find and those who fear their existence.

"They would do something big, I can feel it" Maico mentioned to the rest, their expressions mirroring his as they contemplated.

The twins were seated with them, although they have not done anything that could help their members they are the future of the pack and is to be protected but they also need to be aware of what is happening.

"We can locate their place easily since the witch was done damage by Rosette," Luna says and they all agree, since the soul was damaged then it is only natural that her powers have decreased.

It's time to hit the iron while it's hot.

"But we need to know where they are now" Fenrir intervened, even though they are a great tracker but they couldn't win against a wolf who hid its smell.

"But we can track the bitten wolves" Skoll added, their eyes held appreciation at his proposal. They were only focused on the big matter itself and forget the whole picture.

They have decided to track the bitten wolves first in hopes that their hive would be connected to where their supposed soldiers are bound to.

The wind then roared and the next thing they knew, Rosette appeared magically into their meeting room, her expression was murderous. Anyone who has eyes can see the hideous anger in her eyes.

"That bitch even broadcasted how she made a fool out of me in front of every witch! I need her dead, now!"

She flung her scarlet sleeves, her lips moved in a fast way that they didn't even know what she chanted. Soon a wind captured the rest, stirring them off of their feet except the twins. When they finally summon their consciousness, they met a sight of an old medieval castle that loomed over their frames. Windows rattling from the force of the wind, tree branches scraping each other, and the howls of entrapped souls that begged to be given justice.

This is it, the place they discussed just a few minutes ago, and they can already tell that it was the real place just by the heavy atmosphere that the castle brings, to be exact the owners of this dangly castle in front of them.

"This is their lair isn't it?" Maico was the first one to broke the silence.

Rosette remained silent, the pupils of her eyes sent bone-chilling wrath that even they had a hard time ignoring. Her steps leave marks on the muddy soil, her hair that resembles the glow of the moon shone amidst the onyx sky, the blood-red dress she loves to wear seems to be an ominous prediction of what would happen in a few seconds.

And they were right.

The smell of rotting flesh, the blood that seems to cling dependently onto the walls of the castle overwhelmed their senses, screams of humans could be heard as it rang across the corner of the walls.

"Luna and Hati - you two will be arranged for the release of humans, give this to them before releasing them" it was a potion that he exchanged for a huge amount of gold and pearls, a potion that would erase any being specific memories if they took a whiff of it.

The two nodded and they soon were out of their sight, the rest of them followed Rosette who bears a resemblance to the ocean, calm before the storm hits in.

Dust, cobwebs, and broken furniture littered the place. Each time they stepped they encountered a spell that was whisked away with just a command from Rosette. Their fangs and claws were covered in blood as they took the lives out of the unfortunate humans and prayed for the moon goddess to help them achieve peace.

It was then when the wind flung across a wooden massive door that was easily crushed by her power, there lay a pale-faced Louivia who was currently being nursed by Lexon, his eyes burning in anger like that of blue fire.

"It seems like my older sister has brought her pets for a walk" they growled at the mocking words that they received, eyes slitting in anger as they hunched their back, ready to attack.

"I intend to visit my sick sister after all it was my fault that you are like this" her words don't match the vicious glee that held in her eyes.

It was like sparks flickered like electric bolts at their staredown, no one backing down as their powers were summoned that made the whole castle tremble.

"Go on boys, I knew you wanted the head of that revolting fanion wolf who can only submit to an imbecile witch who doesn't deserve her head"

It started.

Lukka was the first one to attack, given that there were still bitten wolves that surrounded them Lexon had a few minutes to leave the castle and escape like the coward he is. With brute force, they managed to kill all the enslaved soldiers that hindered them.

Their senses were overwhelmed by the smell of blood and scars dotted their bodes but they remained the same and continued to resolutely fight back. Their thunderous paws made contact with the dusty floors almost breaking it, the dust flying off in every corner as their speed matches with each other.

Lukka was the fastest and he was soon on par with Lexon's wolf who is now running for his life, with just one more step he'll be able to reach his throat when he was thrown with a deranged wolf on the side which he immediately dragged its heart out.

Because of that unexpected thing, he was soon a mile away from Lexon but he was fast enough to follow his trails.

His heart took a sharp turn when his hinges halted after seeing the place where Lexon ended up. It was the small town of Wilsbrein and he can hear vividly the chatters and laughter from the unsuspected humans.

Within the lively town are the frigid blue eyes of Lexon, twinkling in cunningness as he caught the weakness that they had tried to protect.
