They were like rats hiding underneath the ground, afraid of getting discovered by large predators. Each of their injuries has already healed in just two days, the battlefield was already surrounded by humans that were brimming with hate currently and they dare not leave.

Not because of fear, they are much more stronger and swifter than humans but they wanted to think of a solution, anything that would remedy their current situation.

After the battle between Lexon and Lukka ended they immediately left to get him medical attention, they have not contacted Rosette and their two female members who were left to take care of the taken humans have no idea where she left.

"They will burn the forest into ashes, we can't let that happen"

They didn't fear that they would be discovered, they are in their human forms and no one would associate them as the monsters that the human has now despised. What they're concerned about is the forest that they lived in for years, home to the wild animals, and is part of the nature they were oath to protect and nurture.

For the humans to even burn the forest they once took pride in is just evidence of the apparent loathing that they have in the wolves who they thought were monsters.
It wasn't the wolves but a foolish and cunning werewolf that is the main reason for all of this crisis.

"Selene wanted to come here, she wanted answers" Hati suddenly said which piqued the interest of Lukka who was initially still thinking of the ramifications of their existence.

"She's not leaving?"

His heart clench painfully inside, his wolf howled and thrashed to be free but he suppressed it inside. The situation is getting out of control and the fact that the town has suffered and lives taken away from them so easily still haunted him.

With just one bite she would become like one of those bitten wolves that they had been killing for the last month. He would rather die than let her suffer and even if he did she would still survive.

Wolves mate for life but humans could still find someone to love even if they released themselves out of an unhappy relationship. He will die and she would lose half of her soul but she wouldn't completely lose herself.

It's better for him to leave than for her to suffer constantly with him.

"She doesn't mention anything, we'll just ask her later" she responded and sat in the chair alongside her brothers.

They have been living in the hotel that Fenrir has been working for in the past weeks. They already learned of the people living here who wanted to leave this town after such a frightening incident, the hotel could barely sustain the people that work here and Fenrir was the first one to be fired.

The economy was once more implicated
after the damage that was done two days ago, reconstruction of the buildings as well as the cost for the people who have lost their homes and loves ones that are used to compensate them. Now a raging conflict has arrived and there's no certainty that the people who protect nature wouldn't suffer.

"I'm going to her" he has decided to just go to her home and persuade her to leave. She's a part of the group that protects nature and it isn't safe for her right now.

"We will protect our nature, we may have disappointed the people living in this town but this time, we will give our all to protect those who wanted to protect us" Maico announced and all of us accepted his order, to be able to protect those who wished to protect us- even amidst the conflict that might arise in their heart was commendable.
