Someone shoke me lightly and I instantly jerked up and pressed the dagger on that person's throat. I flipped us and sat on top of him with the dagger still on his throat.
“Who are you? Who sent? Move and I'll slit your throat.” I hissed at the person below me.
“It's me, you crazy woman.” Mehmed hissed from below as he moved his face closer, close enough for me to see him. The moonlight was peaking in into the room throught the balcony brightening the room a bit, just enough for a person to walk through the room without falling down and breaking your neck.
I moved away from him still glaring at him. “Why did you wake me up? Do you want to pee? Are you scared to go alone.” I asked in an irritated tone.
He shot me a glare before sitting up. “You were talking rubbish in your sleep disturbing my peaceful sleep.” He huffed in annoyance.
I was about to protest when something fell off the table and we both jerked our heads towards it.
“It's a jar.” He rolled his eyes before moving out of the bed and a shadow pass by my face. I instantly stopped him.
“Now what?” He asked in annoyance.
“There is someone in the room, Mehmed. Don't move.” I whispered and he stilled. I slowly took his sword from the nightstand and gave it to him and he took it.
Three people burst inside the room and advanced towards us and Mehmed Instantly stood up and started attacking them. More and more people filled the room circling him but they didn't saw me.
I took both the daggers and pounced at them, stabbing two person at once. All thanks to my navy seal father for making me practice for my whole life. Didn't knew It'll come handy one day.
“Catch her.” One of them yelled and some of the men came running towards me.
I threw the dagger at one of the guy while stabbing the other one on the heart. I've done this couple of times.
When I was fifteen, some terrorist kidnapped me to get my father to release one of their man. Well, too bad for them. They forget I'm my father's daughter.
Fighting, guns, knives and killing the enemies is nothing new to me. It's like a daily warm up for me and my family because of my father's position in his job.
One of them got me in a choke hold but I swung my elbow straight on his nose and he fall down groaning in pain.
I swung my leg kicking the last person on the place where the sun don't shine and he fell on his knees crying out loud in pain.
I turn towards Mehmed to see him fighting with three people. The one from behind was about to stab him when I grabbed a vase from the table and threw it on the guy and it hit his head making him fall down. Good shot, Andria.
I look towards Mehmed to see him already looking at me.
“Are you alright?” I ran towards him but he didn't replied instead he kept on looking at me.
“What?”
“Who really are you?” He asked narrowing his eyes at me as he examined my face. “Why did you save me?”
I looked at him with a serious face. “Mehmed, why won't I save you. That's the stupidest question I've ever heard.”
“I need the real reason why did you saved me.” He said in a serious tone and I sighed.
“You saved my life, Mehmed. And what makes you think I'll let the guy who saved me die in front of my eyes.” I replied wiping my bloodied hands on my dress.
“Who really are you?Where did you learn how to fight like that?” He asked as he sat down on the bed and I sat down beside him.
“My father is a. . . . . well trained special soldier in Rome. So, he taught me how to defend myself.” I replied as I gave him a small smile while he look at me with different emotion which I couldn't quite catch as the guards burst into the room.
“Şehzadem, are you alright?” One of the guards asked as they look around the room. Mehmed stood up.
“How did they entered my room, Agha?” He asked in a cold tone and they bowed their heads.
“We don't know, Your highness. But we'll –”
Mehmed cut him off. “So, you're telling me you don't know how this assassins entered my room despite all the tight security?” He roared at them before pointing at me. “If she wasn't here tonight, I could have been dead.”
“We–”
Mehmed raised his hands stopping him from saying any further. “Enough. Clean up the mess before I return.” He said before pulling me out of the room.
“Ehh. . . Mehmed, where are we going?” I asked him as we walk through the hallway.
“Shut up and just follow me.” He said looking straight and I rolled my eyes.
We finally came at the stopped and I notice we were standing outside the Harem door.
“Call Firuze Kalfa.” He said to one of the door man and the man nodded before going inside.
After some minute Firuze came out and gasped at us. “Oh my God. Şehzadem, Andria what happen?” She asked as she look at us horrified.
“Nothing. Just go and bring her something to wear for tonight. Make it fast.” He said before pushing me towards her.
She nodded before ushering me to follow her. As soon as we came to the room we were earlier in, she started firing questions at me.
“What happened? Why is there blood everywhere? Are you hurt?” I placed my hands on her shoulders.
“Calm down, Firuze. It's nothing. You'll get to know tomorrow in the morning. Remember Şehzade is waiting, we need to hurry up.” I said and she nodded before handing me a white nighty same like I was wearing and a rob to wear above the dress cause I can't walk around the palace, dressed in my nighty.
After I freshen up and got dresses she lead me towards the door where Mehmed was waiting for me.
“Thank you, Kalfa. Sorry to bother you at this time” He said.
Firuze bowed at him. “It's my pleasure, Şehzadem.” She said before going in after Mehmed told her to.
Mehmed started walking away and I quickly followed him.
“Who do you think send them.” I asked as I walk beside him.
He smiled bitterly before replying. “Hafsa Sultan.”
