“Don't move.” I hissed at Mehmed as I slapped his hands away. He rolled his eyes at me but didn't argue.
I was arranging his Kaftan and robe for him as he was taking forever to do it. Dumb prince.
I put the tulip broach on the right side just below his neckline before clapping my hands. “Done.”
He looked at his reflection in the mirror with satisfied smile. I took his headgears from the table before giving it to him to put it on himself and he took it before putting it on.
“Finally, you're ready on time.” I let out breath in relieve. “Now, come on. If you keep on looking at your appearance in the mirror we'll reach there next year.”
He rolled his eyes at me again.
I swear this guy rolls his eyes more than I do.
“Keep rolling your eyes. Maybe you'll find your small brain back there.” I said as I check my appearance in the mirror for the last time. I'm wearing a green dress pairing it with a tulip necklace and a broach that Hümaşah Sultan gifted me and Sadika Hatun.
“Are you done.” Mehmed asked and I rolled my eyes at him.
“Are you done.” I mimicked making him scowl at me. “Of course. Now lets go.”
I took the dagger from the take before trapping it just below my knee.
“Daggers. Now, why do you need daggers for?” Mehmed asked cocking his eyebrows at me.
“Anything can happen anywhere, Mehmed. We should always be prepared.” I replied as I winked at him.
The wedding was held somewhere in the outskirt of the city so we had to go by carriage.
“Andria, Why don't you come with us.” Hümaşah Sultan asked as soon as we came near the carriage. She was wearing a satin green dress pairing it with a green robe and peacock feather pinned on the robe and a tulip bracelet.
“Ok.”
“No.”
Mehmed and I replied at the same time and I narrowed my eyes at him.
“Why?” Hümaşah Sultan asked with a smile whereas Sadika Hatun and the other girls were giggling at the back.
“She'll come with me, Sultanam.” He replied with a blank face and I shot him an unimpressed look before moving towards Hümaşah Sultan.
“Sultanam, I'll go with you.” I said before turning back and smirking at Mehmed who was glaring at me.
Hümaşah Sultan chuckled at me before nodding and getting into the carriage followed by me and Sadika Hatun.
“So. . .” Sadika Hatun said smirking at me and I raised my eyebrows at her.
“So?” I asked.
“Looks like our Şehzade has fallen into trap.” She said in a serious tone. Trap?
“A trap?” I asked in confusion. Now, what on earth is she really talking about. Do I look like a serial killer? Why do everyone keep on referring me as one? And what trap is she even talking about now.
“Yes. A trap.” She replied.
“Of love.” Hümaşah Sultan added.
They giggled followed by the girl who was sitting beside me and I scowl at them.
“I beg your pardon, Sultanam. But there is no such thing going on.” I replied. ‘Infact, the real reason why your brother want me close to him is because he still think I'll kill you all’ I wanted to add but swallowed my words.
