Louis drove so fast to Harry's apartment the wind hitting his face and his ears screaming due to the cold but he couldn't seem to care.
Finally after what felt like an eternity he arrived at Harry's flat and rang the bell.
A puffy eyed, in sweats and a big hoodie, Harry opened the door.
"Oh Haz." Louis said and engulfed him in a big hug. "Shhh, baby, I'm here now." He shushed him while walking into the apartment closing the door behind him.
He then took Harry's face in his hands and kissed his forehead sweetly.
"I'm here and I'll listen if you want to talk." He reassured him.
"Ok." Harry took a deep breath. "I'm ready to talk. I'm sorry it took me this long, Lou." Harry said.
"Don't worry I told you everything at your pace Haz."
Louis smiled at the younger one who tried to return it.
"I'll make us some tea and you'll go sit on the couch and then we can talk." Louis told him softly before walking into the kitchen.
While the water was boiling Louis head run wild.
What happened that made Harry cry this much.
Louis was at loss. While he prepared the tea he thought about different things that could've happened but he didn't think of anything that could've happened now.
He walked into the living room with two steaming tea mugs and placed them on the coffee table.
Louis looked at him as to tell Harry whenever you're ready and Harry nodded gratefully.
After about 10 minutes Harry cleared his throat.
"It all began when I was 5 and my lovely dad died. He taught me so much and he's always been supportive of me wanting to dance. He bought me my first tutu and always went to practice with me. He told me son, one day I'll see you dance swan lake and I'll be standing there first row and smiling like a Christmas tree and telling everyone 'that's my son'." Harry exhaled deeply.
"He sounds so lovely Haz, I'm sure he's up there looking at what you've achieved now and thinking that's my son." Louis told him softly, waiting for Harry to continue.
Harry had tears streaming down his face. He took his mug and drank a bit trying to stop his tears. Louis placed his hand on Harry's knee and started rubbing there.
"My mom loved him very much so she fell in a darker place." Harry began again. "She really tried to be a good mum and to be there for me but she couldn't her heart was broken and that's what broke me the most. I heard her crying in her room every day and me and my sister were so lost. We lived at our gran for one year without any contact to our mom. I was only 5 and I felt like my mom didn't want me anymore. I cried a lot." Harry explained.
Louis heart broke at that imagining 5 years old Harry sitting there and crying about not getting loved.
"After a year my mom had a new boyfriend." Harry shivered. Oh no please. Louis watched him closely. "He drank, he drank a lot." At that Harry broke he was full on sobbing now so Louis took him in his arms and held him through it.
After 10 minutes Harry sat up again, "I want to continue I've been holding it in for too long now." Louis felt so proud so he nodded at Harry.
"So my mom's new boyfriend drank and my mom drank with him, he often got abusive towards me but my sister, Gemma always tried to shield me. She's always been the stronger one of us. She always stood up for me." Harry smiled a bit thinking about his sister.
"When I was 15 and Gemma 17 she moved away. She couldn't live with us anymore. She apologized so many times and cried for leaving me behind but I'm not mad at her I can't be mad at her." He said trying to even his breathing.
"He got more and more aggressive to the point where I couldn't go to school because I was so bruised. One day the police finally came around and found me half dead on my bead with so many bruises. My sister had called them." Harry continued
Louis heart shattered for his boy. His little Harry like that. He was hurt, angry and so so sorry he wasn't there to protect him.
"That day I went home because I 'was sick' was the first time I heard from my mom again. Her boyfriend has committed he couldn't stand the pain anymore." Harry chuckled deeply.
"I was so mad. I fought all these years to keep alive to make my dad proud against him and now he just kills himself because he can't stand the pain." Harry was screaming now angry tears were running down his face. "And my mother fucking cried after he abused me for so many years all the pain he put me through and she still cried." Harry was now full on sobbing.
Louis just let him cry letting it all out before Harry continued.
"My mom is sober since 2 years now and today she called me to ask me if we could meet up because she wants to apologize." Harry breathed deeply again. "I denied her because I'm done with the pain. But it hurts the pain in her voice and how she cried when she told me how sorry she is for everything. I tried to call Gemma, my sister, but she lives in America so she's not awake now and then I called you." Harry explained.
"You can always call me whenever you need me, Haz don't need to explain why you called me." Louis reassured him before taking him in his arms. "I'm so proud you finally told someone everything and let it all out. You're so so strong Harry." Louis murmured in his hair.
Harry yawned into his chest. "Can we go to bed now?" He asked cutely.
"Of course, love. Let's go." Louis said and lifted Harry up who snuggled closer into his chest. "Down the hall first door." Harry mumbled tiredly.
He set Harry down on the bed before climbing in after him and letting Harry cuddle into his chest. "Will you still be there when I wake up?" Harry asked him quietly.
Louis kissed his head before answering. "Always."
