"How was your relationship with her?"

I take the second bite of what I think is officially the best sandwich I've ever tasted. Although I did say the same last week about a different sandwich he made.

To be honest, I didn't care that much about sandwiches until I met Olli. There's just something about the way he makes them that keeps me wanting more.

"She was my best friend."
I say then chuckle faintly when mustard manages to sneak out of the delicious delicacy and lands on the corner of my lip.

I lick it off after taking another bite.

Mustard is another thing I didn't care much for before I met him.

"What happened to her?"

I open the sandwich to pop some of the sliced bacon pieces in my mouth. I'm impressed at how symmetrical they are, the man has talent. And a lot of time, evidently.

"She was in a car accident. reporters were trying to get pictures of her drunk again. Those were the last pictures that were ever taken of her."

I frown slightly when I close the sandwich and realize it's gotten thinner. The bacon was great and all but I think the thickness of the sandwich was better.

I took out some of the ingredients that made the sandwich what it is and I don't know if it was worth it.

"Bella, that's... I'm so sorry."

It doesn't take me long to finish my now thin sandwich.

"It's ok."

I say as I now eye the sandwich that he's barely touched. I look at him, wondering if he's going to eat it. It doesn't look like it.

So,

"Uhm, are you gonna have that?"

He simply frowns at me, I assume it's because he was planning to eat it. I still look at him with puppy dog eyes, hoping he changes his mind.

But I guess not, because,

"Bella!"

Now he sounds mad, so unnecessary! I frown too in response.

"What? It's just a sandwich, Olli. You can just make another one when I leave."

I don't get what the big deal is. He's had it plenty of times before but I haven't.

"Why do you do that?"

He presses and I decide I actually don't need it that much.

So,

"It's fine. You can keep it."

It's not fine, but I'm not going to force him to give me his sandwich.

"Screw the damn sandwich!"

I flinch at his sudden loud tone. I have never seen him so frustrated before.
