CALISTA SAVAS

She trailed behind the group, at a more hindered pace than the rest. She was exceeding exhaustion and was in desperate need of rest. Despite her tiredness, she took this journey as a chance to introduce herself to the potential group. She spotted the man from before, the one who had been carrying a child.

She hadn't seen a child in quite a bit of time, as she found it bizarre that people would risk their lives, especially to bring another human life full of uncertainties into this sinister world. She wasn't fond of being disliked by others, however, so she would never share her opinions on something that wasn't her place to comment on, mainly when her viewpoints weren't requested in the first place.

She fastened her velocity, endeavoring to catch up with the man. He appeared to be aware of her presence and slowed down a bit, making it a tad easier for the weary girl. "Hey, there kid, how are you keeping up?"

Calista was appreciative of the man's kindness towards her. Not a lot of that deed persisted in the world. It was mainly all about survival, not humanity. "Quite tired, honestly. Hopefully, this church is what I hope it is." She responded to the man, pursing her lips at the slightest bit. Her rejoinder earned a smile from the man, as he commenced to introduce himself to her. "I'm Tyreese, your name's Calista if I heard correctly. If you ever need anything, just let me know. I'm here for you." His compassion filled Calista with a sensation of delight. "Efcharistó."

Tyreese informed Calista of one more thing before he expedited off to catch up with a few of the others. "You should go talk to Carl, he's around your age. I think he would really like talking to someone around his own age for a change."

She nodded, scoping the others for a perception of the briefly mentioned boy. She spotted the boy with the sheriff's hat and pondered about going up to him.

In all honesty, she was almost afraid to talk to him. She hadn't been around someone her own age since before the world's status declined. Besides, he looked like he would rather be alone for now, considering the look that was painted across his features. A look Calista had seen before, depicted on her own face. The look of grief.

The group came to a halt as Gabriel began babbling. "Maybe I'm lying about everything and there's no church at all. Maybe I'm leading you into a trap so I can steal all of your squirrels." He whirled his head around, suspecting someone to find his sarcasm as comical.
