Kya x Lin - Two professors

Days passed on in the academy, couples were happy. Occasionally Lin and Kya would meet up for dinner with Su and Kuvira. They would sometimes bring along Asami but she wouldn't always want to come, seems like she was avoiding the company since she was the only one single person amongst them.

Asami was a teacher of advanced mathematics and engineering classes at the academy. She had classes with senior students who were in their last year of academy. There was one student in particular that caught her attention but she never let her emotions take the best. After all she was a professor and that a student. Time passed for Asami daily at the academy having to see that one particular senior student. She came to know with time that actually there was only 2 years difference between them. And that her name was Korra.

During her break at the academy she was seated with Lin Kya and Su. In the common cafeteria of their academy where all students would come for breaks too. Asami wasn't eating but picking on her food slowly seeming really down. Su noticed that and nudged Kya with her leg under the table and pointed at Asami showing Kya what she meant by that kick. Kya slowly looked at Lin who already noticed the situation. They all kept glancing at each other and debating with looks on who should start a conversation with Asami. Kya got tired of the sisters debating quietly and spoke up.

Kya: Asami you seem down not for a couple of days, is there something wrong? Someone bothering you?
Asami looked up at Kya and smiled trying to remove that sad look she had on her face: No .. no I'm fine, just tired probably. Can't wait for the vacation.
Kya didn't buy it but let the subject pass by for now, she would talk to her later privately.

They just finished lunch and we're now headed to the staff office to grab their things for their next classes. On the way Asami was stopped by a student and Asami told them that she would catch up with them later.

The 3 left her and went on to their classes. They saw that Asami caught up with them later walking to her class too.

Lin was now walking with Su to their classes since they were beside each other and decided to walk together leaving Kya to leave in an opposite direction.
Su: What you think could possibly be bothering Asami? She seemed low for a couple of days now.....
Lin: I don't know... maybe family stuff or something I'm sure if she wants us to know she would tell us ..
Su: Maybe...

They went to their classes and continued with their day.

At the end of their day they were all back at the office grabbing their things and getting ready to head back home. While the 3 professors were walking towards their cars they noticed Asami was again with that same student who approached her a while before in the academy. The student handed Asami a piece of paper and went away. All three of them noticed the exchange and were confused..

Kya: Are you thinking of what I'm thinking?
Lin: She's taking bribes for grades?
Kya shocked: NOOOO.. they are dating !!!!!

Su and Lin together : WHAT ???

Kya: Can't you see she's been off lately, it's probably she thinking of how can she date Korra while being her teacher and she knows that it's against the rules! This explains her low mood..
Lin: And what we just saw was?
Kya: I don't know but I have a feeling Asami is getting herself into a relationship with my cousin! OMG MY COUSIN
Lin chuckling: You just realized what you saw professor.
Su: Well I don't think they have much difference in age it's just their positions and I bet that won't stay forever isn't your cousin a senior in the academy?
Kya: She is but until graduation they should be careful I need to talk to Korra ..
Lin holding Kya's hand: Get in the car professor

With that she kissed Kya's cheek. Su walking away from them giggling.

Back at Lin's and Kya's apartment.

Lin: Kya stop assuming things maybe they were just having a normal student teacher chat.
Kya: You think I don't know Korra?
Lin: Well.. that's another discussion ...

Kya went into their bedroom she grabbed her phone and dialed Korra's number.

Korra: Hello Kya
Kya: Hiii there young heartbreaker
Korra: Uuuggghhhhh....... You saw me with professor Asami didn't you?
Kya: You bet I did, what are you thinking Korra? She's your professor!!!!!
Korra: Kya..
Kya: No don't give me that Kya exc——-
Kya gasped and stayed quiet
Korra: Yes Kya she is the one I've been talking about...
Kya: Korra you do realized you still need to graduate and that her actually teaching you one of the subjects doesn't help your position?
Korra: Yes I do understand but that will end soon so we can keep it quiet for a little while.
Kya: You meeting in a parking lot is not being suspicious you think?
Korra: Well I just wanted to see her by the end of the day and give her my number. I'll be careful Kya I promise.
Kya: You better be, I need to talk to Asami tomorrow too.
Korra: Hey heyyyy chill there let me talk to her otherwise she might just freak out and just bail on me for the rest of our lives.
Kya: You really think you both will work out?
Korra: I was never so sure about it Kya..
Kya breathing heavily ...
Kya: Okay then just be careful I don't want any problems of you being kicked out for such stuff.
Korra: Thank you Kya, love you!
Kya: Love you too troublemaker, bye.

Lin entering the bedroom.
Lin: So?
Kya: Asami and Korra are dating..
Lin: Well that's not my business but I wish Korra good luck in passing Asami's class
She chuckled and Kya raised her eyebrow looking seriously at Lin
Lin: You can't blame the girl for falling for Asami now can you?
Kya: Yeah so why don't you go after her too maybe have a little competition
Kya was about to get up from bed when Lin held her hand and pushed her back on the bed and got on top of her pinning Kya's hands above her head.
Kya annoyed: Get up Lin I'm serious your——-
Lin smashed her lips on to Kya's and kept locked till Kya resisted no more.
Lin moving away smiling
Lin: I never thought you could get jealous.
Kya: You think?
Lin: You are the most beautiful professor to me I don't need anyone no matter how they look.
Kya looking away: But you still think she's pretty..
Lin: There are many pretty people around the world but you and I are perfect together and I love you for you and not because you're so fuckin beautiful.
Kya blushing: Who knew the grumpy professor was a sweet talker.
Lin getting up from Kya: That's enough of me being soft get up dinner's ready.
Kya laying on the bed still laughing watching Lin walking out of the bedroom.

Kya was still on bed laying and thinking.. She was thinking of how Lin loved her unconditionally and she just realized that her and Lin haven't had intimacy in a long time and Lin never really forced it from her. She remembered all the time when she rejected Lin saying she was tired or just busy and Lin would just fall asleep and not even complain about anything the next day. She truly loved that woman and the unconditional love she gave her was precious.

Kya entered the living room where was waiting for Kya with two plates of just cooked delicious dinner. Kya sat beside Lin who was watching TV and kissed her cheek. Lin took both plates and handed one to Kya.

Lin: Took you long enough to come over I thought you fell asleep.
Kya: What would you do if I did?
Lin: I'd keep food in the fridge for tomorrow and went to bed with you.
Kya: You wouldn't eat?
Lin: Nope.
Kya just stared at Lin and just fell in love with every word she said.

Lin looked over at Kya confused..
Lin: What's wrong?
Kya smiled and began to eat...
Kya: Nothing I just love you and the food is delicious thank you.
Lin smiled and began to eat too
Lin: I love you too ...

They ate together in total silence just the TV showing some documentary they both enjoyed watching. As they were done with the food Lin took the plates and cleaned up the kitchen.

She came back seeing Kya sleepy and cuddled up on the couch. Lin approached her
Lin: Let's go to bed you better fall asleep there not here.
Kya got up and they both went to bed cuddled up under the warm blankets.
