Kya x Lin - Two professors

Lin and Kya were both in their last classes in the academy and it was the last day before the long break. Lin reached the staff office first to find her younger sister Su, professor Tenzin and professor Pema packing their desks and getting ready to leave for the long vacation. Tenzin and Pema bid their farewells and wished everyone happy holidays. Lin and Su were left alone in the office.
Su: Are you coming to visit us these holidays? Yknow the kids been waiting for you.
Lin was packing her desk, she replied without looking back at her.
Lin: No actually.. There were some other unexpected plans that came up..
Su could hear the nervousness in her sister's voice. A few moment later she gasped and almost screamed
Su: ARE YOU LEAVING ON A VACATION WITH KYA???
Lin: Calm down Su there is no need to scream like this, and yes I'm going over to Kya's home place to meet her family...
Su: OMG !!!!! FINALLY !!!!!
Lin rolled her eyes and smiled slightly realizing how Su was excited about her more than herself. Suddenly Kya entered the office looking irritated. Lin noticed Kya's state and asked
Lin: Is something wrong professor Kya?
Lin kept watching Kya moving over her desk and doing something, while waiting Kya to respond.
Kya: No nothing, all is fine.
Lin and Su looked at each other acknowledging that they heard how Kya was slightly angry at something. Su then picked her bag hurriedly and bid her goodbyes leaving the office all to Lin and Kya.
Lin walked over to Kya from behind and wrapped her arms around Kya's waist. Hugging her tightly and kissing slightly her shoulder. Kya tensed at the sudden contact but eased into Lin's arms and held Lin tightly
Lin: Hey.. Talk to me..
Kya: I'm just tired and there was this student that just couldn't respect the class enough. I hate it when kids have no manners but at the same time I can understand that they are just young and carefree somehow at the moment. Or maybe I'm just having mood swings and being too overreacted.
Lin kept on kissing her back trying to calm her down.
Kya: Lin aren't you afraid someone might come in and see us like this?
Lin: No, I'm not afraid of being open about you. Are you?
Kya: I'm not but if word spread out about our relationship in the academy it might effect us and our jobs.
Lin: Tenzin and Pema are married and as long as I remember gay marriage is legal now. So...
Kya turning around to face Lin cupping her face gently and kissing her nose
Kya: You may be right...
Lin smiled and kept rubbing Kya's back slowly while holding her close. Kya lay her head on Lin's shoulder and hugged her tightly. They stayed hugging each other for a few moments until Kya broke their hug and returned to packing her things.
Kya: Come on Lin we have a plane to catch tonight, I'll be waiting for you to pick me up at my apartment.
Lin saw that Kya was still upset and nervous she held her by her waist and hugged her from the back.
Lin: Kya there is nothing to worry about, I see you hiding emotions from me. (She keeps kissing her shoulder gently)
Suddenly Kya turned towards Lin and attacked her with a kiss on her lips and started to kiss Lin passionately asking for entrance by her tongue. Lin happily parted her lips and allowed Kya to let out her stress through their kiss.
Kya whispering between kisses: I am.. just.. too afraid.. to lose you..
Kya stopped and started crying hugging Lin tightly and burying her face into Lin's neck.
Lin kept rubbing her back and calming her down knowing that Kya is going through some breakdown she didn't want to question her or anything until Kya felt talking herself. After few moments Kya calmed down and spoke softly.
Kya: I don't feel being alone can I grab my things and come over to you?
Lin: Sure I'll send you my location and you can leave your car at my place too.
Lin kissed her forehead gently and let go of her walking over to her own desk to grab her bag.
Kya grabbed her bag too since she was finished with packing stuff off her desk. They walked to the parking lot holding each other's hands and quietly having a brief conversation. Lin walked Kya to her car, as Kya sat in her car she lowered her window looking up at Lin.
Kya: I'll see you soon
She smiled slightly with still tears eyes.
Lin: I can't wait
Lin gave her a reassuring smile and let Kya drive off. She walked towards her own car, before driving she sent her location to Kya.
They both felt at this moment that they couldn't live a moment apart and being now apart was really hard for them. Lin thought to herself that after they return from their family trip she should ask Kya to move in with her. It might be a fast move but it was obvious they both wanted it quick.

Kya reached her apartment and she started to pack up last things she left since she already packed the majority of her things and kept it ready by the door. She took a quick shower and changed into fresh clothes. She took her bags locked her apartment and went over to her car as quickly as possible since she was already feeling that she missed Lin. On her way she thought how amazing it would be to live together with Lin and waking up every morning to her sleepy face. She smiled to herself at this thought and decided that she had to bring up this conversation with Lin after they returned from their trip to the South.

Kya reached Lin's place and parked the car where Lin has told her to. She went up to Lin's apartment to find the door slightly open assuming she was expected. She entered the apartment and closed the door behind her and stood there for a while trying to realize where Lin was

Kya: Hello?!
Footsteps were heard from afar and then Lin appeared. Lin walked towards Kya hugging her and kissing her nose.
Lin: Hello?
Kya giggled slightly and hugged Lin back
Kya: I feel like I missed you already.. are you ready?
Lin: I never thought you could be so clingy professor but in any case I love it and yes I am ready I'm just waiting for the cab to give me a call so we can go down.
Lin letting Kya go indicating she can go inside and sit on the couch in the living room. She went inside her bedroom to get a bag out of there and placed it near the door. Lin walked back to Kya sitting beside her and scrolling through her phone. Kya noticed Lin not paying much attention to her nudged her by her shoulder. Lin responded without looking at Kya
Lin: Yes?
Kya: My love?
Lin looked up at Kya and raised her eyebrow indicating that she was slightly confused
Kya giggling at her reaction replied
Kya: you forgot to add it in the end
Lin laughed slightly at how Kya was unusually too detailed and clingy today
Lin: Come here (tapping her lap)
Kya gladly straddled Lin and placed her hands on Lin's shoulders
Lin: What's wrong mmmy llooove
Kya blushed slightly looking down
Kya: Idk.. I just feel suddenly too attached to you and it scares me
Kya lowered her hands on Lin's waist and laid her head on Lin's shoulder
Lin hugged her and brought her closer leaving no space between them
Lin: I can say the same thing too...
She hugged Kya even more and they stayed quiet for a while until Lin's phone broke the silence
Lin replied.. it was the cab driver informing her that he was waiting at the apartment's waiting area.
Lin raised Kya's face to her own and cupped Kya's face both her hands she kissed her nose
Lin: Let's go and meet your family professor
Kya smiled at how gentle and attentive Lin was, and she loved it, Kya was crazy about Lin and how she spoke to her.
Kya: Let's go professor...

With that they took their bags and drove to the airport.
