"Thank you for spending your 6 years of Residency and Fellowship with us. Looking forward for your next journey, Doctor of Pediatrics Emergency, Viviana Luna. Congratulations, and enjoy St. Lukes!"

As I received my certification, finally. Finally, I'm a certified Doctor now. A Doctor of Pediatrics Emergency! After how many years of breakdowns, struggles, and sacrifices. I'm finally done, I can finally call myself a Doctor starting from this day on.

As I walk for the last time on this hallway with my white coat, I remembered everything how it started here in United States. Ibang iba sila rito kung i-kukumpara mo sa Pilipinas. As I remembered the way I walk here, I stopped for a minute.

Because I remembered the love of my life.

The man I promised to tell him first when I'm a Doctor already.

I immediately took of my stethoscope that was resting around my shoulders and ran towards my the Pediatrics Emergency department to pack and get all of my things. After an hour, I went straight to the airport.

Even though, he's my ex now. I need to fulfill my promise because I know how promises are important to him.

"When is the next flight U.S to.... Philippines?" I smiled as I asked the woman on the counter.

"They are boarding now, you can-"

"Yes, I will buy a ticket, one ticket please. Here's my passport." I handed her quickly my passport.

After buying my ticket, I ran towards the boarding area. Wala akong kahit anong dala, kahit maleta, wala. Ang bitbit ko lang ay ang coat ko, certificate, and my LV bag pati 'yong usual bag ko for clinic duties.

I sat comfortably on my chair, good thing it is a business class chair. I can sleep! 'Yon na nga lang lagi kong hinahanap simula nong pumasok ako ng College, lalo na nong Med School! As I closed my eyes, my heart won't stop beating so fast because of Jaxon. I'm thinking of him. I don't know If I'm still welcome to him, I don't care because I kept my promise and I will fulfill it now.
