"Sinabi talaga niya 'yon?!"
I almost jumped when Trinity slammed her book on the table, I swallowed hard and glared at her. We were here at the Coffee Shop in Chen-Wong Medical, may shift kasi ako and Trinity decided to visit kasi makiki-chika raw siya.
"Can you please behave?" I whispered. "There are interns na inaaral 'yong cases nila, ang ingay mo." I added.
"Sorry, sorry." Trinity chuckled. "Ang gago kasi ni Jaxon. Isipin mo, nung bumisita ka sa Hotel, partida kakauwi mo lang non talaga rito, he ignored you. Pinagmukha ka niyang tanga! Tapos nung ginawa niya last week sa Hospital, ang landi! Ano 'yon? Parang tanga!" Iritadong sabi ni Tinity.
I sipped on my coffee while listening to her rants. "Mixed signals ba 'yon?" I asked. "Sorry a', nakakatanga kasi talaga mga lalaki." I chuckled.
"Obivously, yes?" Trinity shrugged her shoulders. "Pero sis, hayaan mo na. Antayin mo na lang ano sunod na gagawin." Trinity waved her eyebrows.
"Hmm, I'm not expecting anything from him naman." I slowly nodded as I take a bite on my cinnamon bun.
"Sige, sabi mo e'." She looked at me, halatang nang-aasar talaga 'yong tingin, as she shrugged her shoulders.
I looked at my phone when a notification popped, it was an email from Javier. Nagulat ako dahil pati si Trinity napatingin din sa sarili niyang phone. I opened the file and it's an invitation. I looked at Trinity, siningkitan ko rin siya ng mata.
"What the hell is this?" I asked while showing her my phone.
"I also received one." Trinity showed me her phone.
"Party?" I asked.
"Obviously," Trinity nodded. "Are you going?"
"Kung may shift, hindi." I smiled a bit. Panigurado kasing pag pumunta ako, makikita ko duon si Jaxon and I don't want to interact with him, if possible. Kaso sobrang liit ng mundo, pinagkikita talaga kaming dalawa.
"You should go. Ngayon lang nagkaruon ng reunion ang batch natin sa Tiong Siong ulit." Trinity told me. "Hindi ka na nakaattend last time, bawi ka this time."
"Is this mandatory?" I rolled my eyes.
"Obviously not, but we would like to see you there. Siyempre naman, miss ka na naming lahat. Ako at si Javier pa lang ang nakakakita sa'yo dito sa Pinas no!" Trinity said.
"Hindi naman kailangan na makita nila akong lahat."
"They want, they are waiting for you to come back."
"Echosera ka." I rolled my eyes. "I'll update you with my schedule kung makakapunta ako. If walang makakapagreplace sa shift ko, hindi talaga ako makakapunta." I added.
