Bryce and Nick sat at the bar as people came into the club. Bryce looked at his watch and then sipped his drink.
"Getting nervous?" Nick asked.
"Maybe a little," Bryce said as he put his glass down. He looked at Nick. "How many VIPs tonight?"
"Just yours and one other in four." Bryce nodded at Nick and finished his drink. "Besides, Rob finished his training, so I'm going to leave most of tonight to him. We can relax. Hell, I was going to hang in the suite tonight anyway, but now we have company."
Bryce felt his stomach flip a bit at Nick's words. He couldn't wait to see Sydney, but the thought of meeting her sister made him anxious. The way that Sydney described her sister made him realize he needed to make a good impression on her. He motioned to the bartender and pointed to his glass. He gave a nod and poured Bryce another drink. Nick looked at him as he sipped it. Nick clasped a hand on Bryce's shoulder and smiled.
"You'll be fine." Nick said.
"I hope so." Bryce replied as he finished his drink.
Audrey, Sydney and Kara got out of their rideshare and saw the dozens of people waiting to get in.
"Wow," said Kara, "He owns a popular club."
"Wait till you see inside. It's awesome," Audrey said.
Sydney started to walk towards the side when she spotted Bianca. Bianca looked up and smiled and waved her over. "This way guys." Sydney walked towards Bianca with Audrey and Kara in tow. "Hi Bianca. How are you?"
"I'm good. Damn, girl, that outfit is going to knock his socks off. I'd kill to see his face when he sees you in that."
"On it," Audrey said as she fished her phone out of her purse.
Sydney laughed. "You remember Audrey. This is my sister Kara. Kara, this is Bianca, one of Bryce's best friends." Kara stepped up and shook her hand.
"Very nice to meet you. I'm loving your outfit as well. Did you buy that around here?" Bianca asked.
Kara stepped back and gave Bianca a full look at the red satin spaghetti strapped wrap dress she bought earlier. "Yeah, I had to find something to wear to meet my sister's boyfriend in."
Bianca smiled and looked at Sydney. "I have got to go shopping with you sometime. You know where to find all the good stuff."
Sydney smiled. "I'd like that." She leaned into Bianca and whispered. "Is he nervous about this?"
Bianca smiled and nodded. "Though probably not as nervous as you." She looked down at the clipboard she held and checked off her name. "You guys are all set. Audrey, I'll be up to see that picture later. I need a new screensaver." Bianca touched something in her pocket. "VIP 1 checked in."
Bryce heard Bianca's voice in his earpiece and jumped off of his stool. He finished his drink and steadied himself on the bar. He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths as he hung his head.
"Holy shit." He heard Nick say next to him with a slight laugh in his voice. Bryce stood up and looked at Nick. He looked at where Nick was looking, and his eyes grew wide. He saw Sydney walking towards them in her dress, her chest being pushed up by two different straps, her mid drift exposed and begging for his hands, her hips swaying as she made her way towards him. Finally seeing him, she smiled widely and Bryce went instantly hard knowing that smile and that woman were his and his alone. So lost in his own thoughts he didn't even notice the flash of a camera till he heard a woman speak.
"Got it," Audrey said as she put her phone away. "Hi guys."
Sydney laughed at Audrey and went right up to Bryce, pushing herself against him and laying a soft kiss on his cheek. "Breathe baby," She whispered in his ear.
