Friday night, Bryce stared out the window of his office and watched the people fill his club. He and Sydney had texted earlier, so he knew she was working till 9, and there was no chance in seeing each other that day. He took out his phone and looked at the picture she had sent him the night before. He smiled. He had been looking at it all day. Her hair damp and splayed out behind her on her pillow, that sweet smile, her eyes twinkling behind her glasses, the sweet baby pink tank top she wore. He sighed and put his phone back into his pocket. I won't see her till at least Monday he thought to himself. He turned away from the window with that depressing thought. May as well go do the early rounds. He left his office and headed downstairs. He saw Bianca at the bar and made his way over to her.

"What's it look like tonight?" he asked when he was next to her.

"Doesn't look too bad, two VIPs tonight," She said as she handed Bryce his earpiece.

He put it in and did a check. "Figures, Nick takes a night off when we have two VIPs."

"They weren't booked till this afternoon. But it's only fair since he gave you the night off last night." Bianca nudges him. He smiled.

"Very true. Still, he's just better with VIPs than I am."

"That reminds me, I didn't get a chance to talk to you about your date yesterday. How did it go?"

He shrugged. "Saw a couple of good musicians down there. I got their contact info in case we decide to live music, which made Nick a little happy."

Bianca stared at him. "You took your date out and networked?"

Bryce gave Bianca a wide smile. "No, I took my girlfriend out to catch some live music."

Her eyes widened. "You pulled the trigger?" He nodded. "So, the whole flower thing..."

"Nothing to worry about, just as Nick said. He was a little too happy saying 'I told you so' about it."

She laughed. "I'm glad you're happy Bryce. From what I know of her, she's nice."

He slung his arm over Bianca's shoulder. "Don't worry, you'll get to know her soon."

"The stories I can tell..."

He laughed and gave her a small nudge. "I'm sure."

VIP 2 in bound.

Bryce smiled and made his way to the door. Time to work, he thought.

"Kara, I told you on the phone that Andy had an extra key at his place for you." Sydney said as she came out of her office on Saturday. "You don't have to wait around for me."

"I know, but I couldn't wait to see you." Kara held out her arms and Sydney walked into them, giving her sister a hug. "I missed you."

Sydney smiled. "I missed you too." She stepped back and looked at her sister. She wore her dark brown hair down, her brown eyes highlighted by her bronze skin. Her teal dress hit her just below her knees and highlighted by her white heals. "How was the conference?"

She shrugged. "Nothing new, really. I only go so I have an excuse to see you."

Sydney smiled. "I'm your sister, that's all the excuse you'll ever need."

"Where is everyone? Are you here alone?" Kara looked around.

"Audrey's upstairs putting away a few things. She'll be back in a minute."

As if on cue, the elevator opened, and Audrey stepped out. She saw Kara and jumped with excitement. "Kara!!"

"Audrey!!" Kara exclaimed as the two embraced. Sydney watched as the two of them greeted each other. She shook her head and walked to the elevator.
