Woah, that sounded like sarcasm. Lol.
Okay, I'll be real: Despite the mess we have of the Beyblade Burst fandom (and in extension, all of Beyblade), I will congratulate the fandom for something it did RIGHT at least.
So I've explored many Beyblade territories, from the fangirl communities of Wattpad to the pretty dope BeyTuber community. And ignoring the ugly mess of the fandom aside: I'm going to begrudgingly congratulate the fandom for not having a lot of cancel culture.
I'll be real: Cancel culture sucks sometimes. Believe me, some people deserve to be cancelled (pedophiles!). But really: Don't get me started with the straight fujoshis who cancel people who don't ship mlm. Shut the fuck up. Go take your Shu x Valt hentai somewhere else and don't call someone a "homophobe" for not liking the ship.
A lot of the fandom's drama tend to be a little bit deeper or covered-up. And not, say, to the plain eye or for cancel culture to quickly spread the news. Well thank you for giving most us a little moment of peace?
I love you, Beyblade fandom. You are so quiet compared the fucking furry trashpit called the Wings of Fire fandom.
A little off topic here: There's this really weird pattern where artists tend to get themselves exposed or do a goof-up, followed by people trying to cancel them. If we are going by that pattern, then I somewhat fear for ME. I mean, being a creator of a Beyblade Burst fandom meme, maybe I could get blackmailed into or punished for drawing nsfw of my creation (just joking!).
