God why are you doing this to me?! My conscience kept repeating that exact question in my head the entire night here at the club. Watching Ana from here at the booth to the dance floor I couldn't take my eyes off of her. When I seen her back at the hotel I was caught off guard and was completely speechless I didn't know what to say that's how beautiful she looked
I sipped on the beer Bryce had gotten me as I watched her, "dude you sure you aren't the stalker here?" Noah asked I shoved him playfully "shut up dude" he chuckled "how long has it been since you started talking to her? He asked "a few months, and that's why I don't want to rush cause it's only been four months, but I don't know with her time goes by" I said glancing over where Ana danced in place with her friends "dude just tell her how you feel and if she doesn't give you an answer tonight then wait it out, like you said you don't want to rush it; just tell her take the time to see if she does cause who knows what happened to her with her past relationships" Noah said "have y'all talked about the ex's?" He asked "no that would put us in the most awkward situation ever" I told him "but would it?" He asked, I sat there and thought about what he said; should I have an 'ex' conversation??? I asked myself — how would she react if I suddenly bring it up??? And here's the overthinking beginning again "hey dude don't stress yourself, say it when you're ready. Like you said not rushing it right?" I laughed his comment off "Yeah hey thanks though for helping me get through this" I said he gave me a handshake "no problem, I may have ups and down in my relationship but we get through it just like you and Ana will" he said
I nodded and took another drink, I sat my drink down getting up and making my way towards the center of the dance floor where a bunch of people were dancing on each other, bumping and sweating from all the body heat in the room, I finally reached Ana wrapping my arms around her waist; she jumped then turned her head to see that it was and she relaxed "hate that you're far from me" I softly said in her ear removing my arms from her waist placing my hands pressing softly onto her sides "you say I'm adorable but look at you with your clinginess mister" she teased me "sorry I'm just very comfortable with you, you know?" I said getting nervous; she noticed "hey it's okay I don't mind, it's adorable" she said reassuring me "I just don't want to overdo it" I let out truthfully she nodded understanding, giving me a reassured smile I smiled one back then she stepped off to continue to dance with her friends I call over the boys as we joined the girls and danced together as a group

I went back to the booth taking my suit jacket off and placing it on the edge of the booth; I sat down resting my feet from all the jumping and dancing and moving around I was honestly exhausted watching the girls in their heels is just tiring how the fuck can they dance in heels all day? I wondered. Taking a few minutes to catch my breath and sipping on the rest of my beer, someone came I glanced over noticing it's Faith, I coughed on some beer as it went down the wrong pipe causing me to roughly cough I pat it down patting my chest "oh god are you alright?" She asked as she hurried to my side patting my back to help, after I calmed down I looked over to Faith; "what are you doing here?" I asked curiously "I'm here with my friends just having a fun night and noticed you here across the room" I chuckled "what are the odds" I said jokingly but a little serious as well she chuckled "who are you here with?" She asked "uh my friends. They're dancing I got tired." I said "I saw your fight, you did fucking awesome, you showed them draggers" I smiled "thanks" "no problem, hey since uh we're alone I was wondering maybe we can catch up sometime?" She asked softly, I noticed that she was close -- real close. I scooted a bit away to give some room. "Uh yeah sure, when, what time, and where?" I asked
