Ana's Birthday Pt 2

Vinnie's Pov

The way she looked as the light of the fireplace and pool lights peaked through the roped window from the bounce house shined onto Ana; I may be high, but fuck why did all of these feelings poured back into my system like a drug.. the way her smile makes my heart get a bit mushy. The way her scent of fruity mist which I'm guessing is her Champagne perfume flowed in our personal air. But for some damn reason I felt a pull as I'm leaning in; as I realized that I'm about to pull a backfired move and stopped myself and got up off her helping her stand as we awkwardly chuckled at the recent not so thought out reaction I almost pulled. I scratched my head from my awkwardness. She smiled and shoved me "quit being awkward but then that's how you are so than don't stop?" Ana asked, I laughed at her "wow we're really dorks aren't we?" I asked "I'm the shy dork always" she claims. I smiled agreeing with her.

"Hey have you seen the games inside?" I asked, "oh no haven't gotten the chance to" "I can show you if you like?" I asked looking at her reading her a bit. "Uh sure, let me get my shoes on and I'll meet you inside?" She suggested, "yeah cool" I say as I gotten out holding the slip up so Ana can get out, "see ya in a few" she mumbled, I nodded as I slipped my shoes back on tying my laces again making sure they looked presentable. As I got through doing that I couldn't help myself I glanced up and seen Ana putting her heels on; the way she's concentrating on the way she's wrapping the laces around her calves. The way she looked smooth; and the way I'm just staring like a creep god I'm weird. I made my way back inside as I pass a couple of people as they say their hellos I say mine back as I walked up to the cooler filled with many choices to drink; I grabbed a beer opening it with the bottle opener. I sat the opener down as I walked up to the game machinery I rented for the occasion of tonight; I watched as the words 'Skee-Ball' blinked onto the screen on top; I smiled as a memory between me and Ana flew into mind.

July 6th, 2021

I'm currently walking around the state fair with Ana, this is just a casual hangout no biggie so stop being nervous. I shook off the nerves as Ana was snacking on her corn dog she recently got. "mm" I hear from beside me. Hearing Ana enjoying food is too damn cute. I looked over at her she had her eyes closed chewing that one bite; I chuckled as she looked very adorable, I shook my head "how can you be so adorable while eating a corn dog" I say. After she finished her bite she spoke "no stop, I don't" she blushed "don't be ashamed for liking food seriously don't I like food just as much as you" I say nudging my shoulder with hers causing her to smile.

I looked down as we continued to explore different booths, "Knock down all bottles to get the biggest prize!" I hear a worker say as we passed a ball booth; I looked at the prize to see a big pink teddy bear with a bow around its neck. I smirked as I grabbed Ana's hand and led her towards the booth. "Uh where we going?" I hear as I just smile not saying anything letting her see the prize, "gonna win you that" I say when she frowned confused looking at the game booth "huh?" Was all she could let out making me chuckle "no stop you don't have to" she says "but I want to." I say making her go quiet having a moment to think than she finally gives in, "fine. Just let me think of something to be you know you" "huh?" "You do something sweet and I just want you to feel the same way I think like you're making me feel" she lets out nervously trying to keep contact but looks away making me smile. "Okay we can do that" I agreed with her exchanging soft smiles I stepped up to the booth placing down a ticket to play then the guy tossed me a baseball as I concentrated my aim on the bottles as I bring my arm back then I thrown the ball as a huge smack came alive and down goes all the bottles as I smiled big "winner!" The worker said as he grabbed the stuff animal handing it to me as I passed it to Ana as she had a smile as she took the stuffed bear "ugh thank you" she mumbled, "you're welcome doofus" I tell her as I wrapped my arm over her shoulder as we continued exploring the rest of the fair.
