Aries: A tree with a door at its base. Spiral stairs lead to empty warrens and rooms, each branch terminating in a new door, a new hall.
Taurus: Where the sidewalks end. Concrete and street-lights winding and crossing like old rivers where the reeds grow thick and the forest beckons. It is always near sunset here.
Gemini: Deep places. A knot of stone sewers and underground rivers where the water flows black. Voices half-remembered echo in the quiet dark.
Cancer: Your house, but not your home. A feeling where the light moves slow and thick through the air. Footprints on the ceiling you think you recognize as your own.
Leo: A remembered town square. Basements and tunnels that never existed, lined with aquarium tanks. Soft and watchful eyes from the murky water.
Virgo: An empty street in an empty city far away from home. The wind blows sheer and fierce. An old woman with a coffee cart, face obscured by cloth, has been following you for miles.
Libra: A new place, mirroring the old. Frontier towns and dirt roads given way to linoleum and stucco and anemic fluorescent light.
Scorpio: The city on the horizon, the city always on the horizon. Towers and skyscrapers framed before the sun like a great hand attempting to block out the light. Sunset is soon.
Sagittarius: A plane of shape and pale color. Hedrons like boulders against a soft pink sky, a synthesized wind stirs no grass.
Capricorn: A maze of construction. Scaffolding and plastic sheeting interlaced with catwalks and cranes and sawhorses. One could wander for hours and find nothing of the thing being built. It is night here, but the stars are clear and beautiful.
Aquarius: A nameless city street. A crowd that parts from the eyes. The sounds, the heat, the pressure of a crowd are all present. One knows there is a crowd, but all one sees is the ghost of motion at the very edges of vision.
Pisces: A labyrinth. A place remembered but never visited. A grey place of great stone walls and wild honeysuckle reaching from the cracks. A thread of pale gold.
