Lauren's POV

Lewis was acting mysterious.

"What's going on?" I questioned as he led me down the stairs, grinning like a loon. His eyes danced in the light and my stomach started fluttering. I wondered if he knew what it felt like when he held my hand like this. The sparks raced through me, exciting me and urging me to reach for further intimacy. I clenched the hand he wasn't holding - fighting grimly onto my self-control. I flushed in embarrassment at the thoughts my mind kept conjuring up. He stopped outside a door and turned to look down at me. "What's behind the door?"

"Well..." he reached for my other hand, the caress of his gentle fingers eased open my fist. "I believe that I'm in debt to you." He murmured his voice a perfect purr. His fingers trailed up my arm and my breath caught. His eyes smouldered down and unconsciously I took a step forward to close the gap between us but he caught me off guard by turning me around. I stared at the closed door that I was now firmly positioned in front of. Not what I had been hoping for, I had rather fancied a further make out session. Lewis' hands encased my waist from behind and pulled me against his rock hard torso. My heart was racing which made me blush realising that he might be very aware of that. "I owe you a date." He nuzzled my neck breathing in deeply.

"Alrighty," my voice was embarrassingly shaky.

"Open the door." He whispered his delicious lips in my ear. Opening the door, come on arm its simple, extend limb and reach door handle and turn. The problem comes when your body has turned into jelly and no longer works properly. Lewis chuckled softly and leant around me to open the door. I stepped forward into cupid's grotto. The level of pink was blinding. I looked around. Candles flickered on every available surface. The balcony doors had been thrown open bathing a cosy table set for two places in milky moonlight.

"Wow." Lewis was looking at me apprehensively. "This is really lovely." I am so under-dressed.

Lewis' POV

Immy really pulled out all of the stops, even the music for the ambience is achingly beautiful without getting in the way of lovers chat. Unfortunately I have no idea what lovers chat is supposed to sound like and by the way things are going neither does Lauren. Tears stream down my face as she has me in stitches recounting the story she entitles "the eventful bus journey to work involving a packet of runaway mints". She does all the voices even miming the little dog that played its part. However I'm aware that this is against Immy's advice and dating rules. Immy instructed me to ask questions, to learn personal, real stuff about Lauren with lots of longing glances and hand holding across the table. Lauren is leant back away from the table, a glass of wine in hand whilst I'm laughing so raucously that the chair legs are starting to creak.

Lauren's POV

The benefit of a restaurant is that you get to select your meal. On this romantic evening the meal was pre-set and it involved mushrooms. The mushroom sauce and sliced mushroom got everywhere infecting every strand of pasta. My fork twirled aimlessly about my plate moving the food around rather than making its way into my mouth. Lewis meanwhile ate like a man on the brink of starvation. Getting the answers to some questions seemed like a handy distraction to employ.

"So you were born a werewolf, right? So like a baby puppy- child?" I checked.

"Yep, all under ten's are educated in the pack school. Under that age there's always a risk of them turning wolf just to play games. My wolf's grown up with me, it's a complicated relationship but we're very close." I frowned trying to grasp the idea of this.

"So you have... like two personalities, you're kind of two different people but one of them is a wolf?" Did that mean that half of my, well let's call him boyfriend, want's to pee against trees?
