The Beatle Plan!

Do you have a friend who you want to get into the Beatles, but you don't know how to do it?

Do you have a friend that's genuinely interested in them, but you don't know where to start?

I have the answer. I have developed a plan to give them, step by step throughout their depths of Beatlemania.

Trust me, I've started this with one of my friends and she's on step two already. She's actually liking it and I'm proud of her.

So don't tell me it doesn't work because it should. Unless your friend is legitimately uninterested and wants you to shut your mouth every time you mention the four greatest boys from Liverpool. 😔

That happens sometimes. I'm currently working on a way past that.

But for now, there are eight steps in the plan:

1. Have them listen to the 1 album. This way, they can hear their evolution throughout the years.

2. Recommend 2-3 songs for them from each album (possibly more from the white album). These are my personal ones I recommend, but you can choose your own:
-I Saw Her Standing There
-Twist and Shout
-Don't Bother Me
-Money (That's What I Want)
-I Should Have Known Better
-And I Love Her
-You Can't Do That
-What You're Doing
-Every Little Thing
-I Don't Want to Spoil the Party
-The Night Before
-You've Got to Hide Your Love Away
-Nowhere Man
-In My Life
-Here, There, and Everywhere
-For No One
-I'm Only Sleeping
-She's Leaving Home
-A Day in the Life
-I am the Walrus
-Strawberry Fields Forever
-The Fool on the Hill
-While My Guitar Gently Weeps
-Happiness is a Warm Gun
-Blackbird
-Helter Skelter
-Long, Long, Long
-Hey Bulldog
-Here Comes the Sun
-Because
-Two of Us
-Across the Universe

Also, do not recommend songs from Live at the BBC, Anthology, or any rarities like Bad to Me. This will most likely just confuse them.

3. Take a look at their choices. Whatever songs they say, let them listen to their albums. Chances are if they like certain songs from it, they'll like some other ones too.

4. After that, let them skim through the other albums that weren't included. They do not have to listen to every song fully, just let them get an idea of what the album is.

5. Let's move out of music for a bit. Now it's time to dive into some clips from movies and interviews. Just look up some of your favorite parts any of them and let them get a taste of their personalities.

6. Now, give them a quiz on who is who. This is a common mistake among new beatlemaniacs, so before you move onto step 7, make sure they can tell our sweet Beatles apart.

7. Give them some popular solo songs to listen to. Now they will know what they did after they disbanded. You do not have to use these, but I recommend you start with better known songs:

-Jealous Guy
-Gimmie Some Truth
-Whatever Gets You Thru the Night
