Yesterday, while I was browsing around on YouTube before finally going to sleep, I stumbled upon these two videos:
I don't know if it's just me, but it kind of hurt me to see these songs get not as much love. Granted, the songs shown aren't as popular, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve love. I get it, some of their listeners aren't aware of these lesser known tracks; I'm just saying that the world show acknowledge them more.
This becomes even more evident in the Paul video. Of course, you'd expect their solo work to have less listeners than the Beatles themselves. However, here we see that people really just dont like these albums in particular:
Driving Rain- really isn't as bad as everyone says it is. Very strong beginning and although its second half is weaker, it's still a good album and I find myself playing it a lot.
Press to Play- I don't know too much about this album, but I absolutely love Footprints and Stranglehold.
Memory Almost Full- I love this album. Some of my favorite songs are on that album. House of Wax was actually my number one song on Spotify this year. The bonus tracks, which unfortunately are all listed here, are just as good if not better that some of the album's ones.
Chaos and Creation in the Backyard- Honestly one of my favorite Paul albums. Such a beautiful album. Proof that Paul's newer work is just as good as his older work. I can't really choose a favorite track on here because they're all so good.
I'm not really ranting here, I just want to remind everyone to give the not as recognized songs a listen or two every so often 🙂
