It's insane to think that's it's been 20 years without you, George. You bring us joy and a sense of calmness. Although you passed away 4 years before I was born, I will never forget the heartbreaking tragedy occurring on this day. You will never understand how much I love you.
I went most of the day speechless. I had to talk to give a presentation and to help bake banana bread, but otherwise, I used my whiteboard to speak and no one really cared. My science teacher even wrote "George Harrison Remembrance Day" on the board.
I'll be able to tell them all about Get Back tomorrow.
You are a wonder to this world, George. One day, I shall plant a tree in your honor (let's just hope it doesn't die from beetles).
