Chapter 11. The Underworld

Lucy and Loke were waiting to be received, someone from the council came over to show them the way to the meeting room, when they entered, they saw a large rectangular table, with 10 imposing chairs, the great white living room was adorned with large windows and glass lamps. Through the windows they could see a complete panorama of Era City. In the chairs, the main members of the council were sitting hierarchically. Jura Neekis fifth ranked, Warrod fourth ranked, Wolfheim third ranked and Hyberion the second ranked member of the 10 wizard saints, it was unexpected to be received by everyone, when Lucy was just trying to see Warrod.

They were invited to sit on the empty chairs. As Jura politely greeted her, "Miss Lucy, it has been a while, ¿How is Fairy Tail doing?".

Lucy was astonished, it has been 6 months on Earthland, and they didn't even mind telling everyone that she had quit. And there she was, trying to save them.

Loke balled his fists, "Are you sure you want to do this for them?".

Lucy pressed her lips together, but there was no time for resentments, she suddenly changed her demeanor leaving behind her disappointment, "It's just not about them anymore".

Judging her reaction, Warrod guessed something must had happened between Fairy Tail and her.

Although Warrod is no longer an active member of Fairy Tail, the guild is of utmost importance to him, "¿Did leave the guild? By principle, Fairy Tail is meant to be your family, ¡I would be there, if I didn't have to be here! ¡I'm kidding!", he giggled, "well not really".

Loke's face dyed red of anger, "¿Family? ¡They were the one who abandoned her, who spoke behind her back, who treated her as a replacement! They..." Loke paused and clenched his teeth, "¡Fairy Tail is not a family, they don't deserve Lucy, they made her leave! Maybe in the past, it was a guild with that principle, but not anymore...".

Warrod couldn't believe what he had just heard, his eyes widened, the principles with which he helped to build Fairy Tail had succumbed over time, "¡How sad! I am sorry Lucy, I mean it, without joking".

Lucy fake smiled in displeasure and began with her request, "The story that I am about to share with you may sound a little incredible, but I assure you that everything is true, to begin with, you need to know that this is my third life, although I have been reincarnated twice, I retain the memories of my past lives", even though she left out her identity as Ankhseram and her past with Natsu, Lucy made sure to tell them everything about Tabby and Betelg. Once finished, they were all shocked in disbelief.

Lucy noticied their reactions, but she still make her request loud and clear, "What I am asking from the Magic Council is that you help me protect what is most valuable to me, my weak point, my friends, I'm asking you to protect Fairy Tail",

Warrod was startled, "Does that mean you will rejoin the guild?".

Hyberion narrowed his eyes skeptical, "That's not important now, Miss Lucy ¿How can you prove what you said?".

Lucy smirked, "I can, but not here, let me take you somewhere else", she stood up and chanted a spell, "Ark of Embodiment, Universe", this was the same method Zeus used before to create a small universe, which she called later Celestial World.

The spell quickly took form and the white living room disappeared, all were now floating on the space, surrounded by stars, in a different dimension.

Lucy continued, "¡Open up, Spirit King gate!". From a ball of light appeared the Spirit King, "Sorry to bring all of you here, it is somewhat impossible to summon him within walls of the council, and taking all of you to the Celestial World will waste a lot of our time on Earthland", she explained.
