Chapter 3. The attack on the guild

Natsu was talking happily with Lisanna, when a loud crash suddenly occurred, taking the entire guild by surprise. As everyone turned to look at the site of the explosion, chunks of the front door flew all over the place.

Mira said, "Guys, be careful! The Master said that some escapees from the dark guilds were attacking the new Council's allies in revenge for Zeref."

Almost immediately after Mirajane's comment, the smoke from the entrance vanished, revealing a woman's silhouette.

Lucy looked at the woman with long, wavy, dark blue hair and thought, "Her fine light grey eyes combined with her white complexion and red lipstick make her look like a delicate doll... But what is this feeling of uneasiness? An overwhelming sense of anxiety is eating at my bones right now."

Mira approached Lucy and said, "Lucy, something inside me tells me that she is not like the enemies that have come before. The malice in her face, her presence, her appearance—everything about her seemed much more sinister. Don't you think so?"

Lucy didn't dare to say what she was really thinking. Furthermore, her thoughts focused on the black crystal the woman held with her right hand. "That dark lacrima is familiar to me. Have I seen it before?"

As everyone stared cautiously, Lucy stood up from the chair in battle stance, placing her right hand over her keys and her left hand over her whip.

The woman finally walked into the guild, looking carefully at each member as if she expected to find someone.

Before she continued forward, Natsu broke the silence and confronted her, saying, "Who the hell are you and what do you want?"

The woman's gaze focused on Natsu, but she just smirked mockingly.

Natsu continued, "If you came looking for a fight, we will beat you up; nobody messes with Fairy Tail!"

She sneered, "Oh! So, you really think that a low-ranking being can do something to me?" she pointed to Natsu, "You little shrimp will soon learn the difference between you and me!" She laughed out loud as the dark lacrima shone. Its flashes quickly turned into black minions falling to the ground. She raised her voice and commanded, "Make them know their place."

Every member of the guild began fighting. They didn't really know the reason why they were under attack. Even so, they continued to protect each other as comrades, as a family will do.

However, they were soon overpowered by the minions. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't land a single hit in them. The minions were not only strong, but they had the advantage that their bodies were made of mist. So, physical and magical attacks, had no effect on them. All 'Fairy Tail' members could do was receive the attacks.

"Who do you think you are?" Roared Erza trying to approach the enemy.

"My name is Tabby. I came from a faraway place called 'The Mount Olympus', and I am here to take the 'Planet Destroyer' with me. So, hand it over or I'll make all of you slaves of my wrath," she replied pinpoiting around to all the guild members.

Lucy Froze, a cold ran down her spine. The words 'Mount Olympus' and 'Planet Destroyer' echoed in her head. As a sudden memory took over her entire body. Lucy panicked when she realized she couldn't move. She thought, "Oh no! This is bad! Why is this happening right now? Until today, I had only had these memories during my sleep. This is not time to succumb to sleep. I must force myself to stay awake and fight!"

Lucy began battling inside to stay awake, but soon enough, her mind was disconnected from her body. Suddenly she heard a voice, "Don't fight anymore. You already have enough power to bear this burden. Come, Lucy. I'll show you what you want to know." As Lucy saw Zeus extending her hand towards her, she reached Zeus' hand and gave in to the dream.
