Chapter 18. An Unforgettable Place

Hades looked at Natsu with hatred, Horologium had already told him everything, "¿What are you doing here? ¡You don't even remember her!".

Natsu stood up from the chair and stuttered, "I...". Lucy raised her hand towards Hades, he approached her and held her hand gently. This made Natsu's heart squeeze slightly, making him uncomfortable.

"The red moon...", she said breathing heavily.

"Is still up there, even during the day", he replied looking through the window.

Lucy winced in pain, "Tabby...", she sighed, "I doubt that she has the power to create an eclipse, surely is Betelg's doing".

"It seems her plans are wagging on", he replied taking out a small glass jar.

"Hades, a war is coming", from the tremor in her voice, he could tell she was really worried about it. ¿Was her resolution of leaving Earthland wavering due to Fairy Tail safety?

He gave her a reassuring smile, "¡Look at you! I just left for a moment and you get in trouble again", he patted her head, "rest assured Little Z, and remember who you are ¡We will undoubtedly teach her a lesson! However, at this time you should focus on healing your wounds. Crux told me that we only have one way to heal you, but it will be extremely painful, here, take this", he said giving her the small glass jar, "After I brought you back from Mount Olympus, I asked Loke to help me out, I just finished refining it".

Lucys eyes widened, "¿Is this?".

Hades nodded, "¡Yes! And don't look at me like that, it was time for him to make up for all of the misfortunes he has caused you, so, drink it". Hades kissed Lucy's forehead, then he turned to look at Natsu, "you shan't let her bear the pain alone, if you dare to leave, I will make you pay for it". Natsu balled his fist, he was lost, seconds ago they were treating him as if he did not exist or was not in the room with them, and now he was being threatened by Hades, but Natsu did not feel any discomfort or threat, rather and inexplicably he was swimming in a pool of jealousy, he couldn't explain himself his own feelings, he shot glare Hades until he saw him closing the infirmary door. As soon as Hades left, Lucy drank Natsu's Blood Tear, and began squirming in pain, screaming out loud. Watching her suffer so much, plunged Natsu into an endless agony.

The edges of every burn on her body heated up, they looked like the curse of fire-veins that she experienced when she rewrote E.N.D.'s book, they began to reduce in size healing Lucy's skin. She endured the thorough pain until her wounds closed completely, she was so exhausted that she couldn't keep her eyes open, so she fell asleep. Natsu sighed in relief, then he sat down again, putting his elbows on his knees, the single memory he had of her was spinning on his head. Regardless of the past that he could not remember, he had the certainty that he wouldn't share something like that just with anyone.

Natsu took a last glance at Lucy and fell asleep on the chair. He began dreaming about his memory, after defeating the Infinity Clock, and in order to recover the 7-year gap they spent on Tenroujima Island, some Fairy Tail members went to Akane Beach to train.

On the first day on the beach, Erza decided that after all they had been through, they deserved one day of fun before training, on that day, during the night the girls got drunk.

Lucy hugged Natsu from his back, "¡Give me a piggyback!".

A shiver went down Natsu's spine as he widened his eyes, "¡No way!", he answered annoyed.

"I have to go to the toilet...take me, please", she said leaning her body on his back, begging for his help.

Levy and Mavis encouraged him, and he ran to the bathroom, carrying Lucy on his back. Once they arrived, Natsu left Lucy in the bathroom entrance, "¡I will wait for you here!", he said obviously enraged.
