Lucy stared at him with misgiving, never leaving his eyes, the golden sparkle on them engulfed her a sea of doubts, ¿Had our bond been strong enough to bring him back? ¿What did the golden glow in his eyes mean?. Lost in her thoughts, she didn't realize she was close enough to him, that she couldn't react in time when he raised his right hand and grabbed her right arm, he twirled her around and made her back faced him, she winced in pain, thinking, ¿Is he out of control?. In the middle of her confusion, he took off her short loose cape-sleeve sending the wizard saint badge-pin flying away, everything was happening so fast.

She tried to talk to him, "¿W...y?", , but right on that moment he pulled her arm towards him, then he placed his left hand on her forehead slightly pulling it back causing her back to arch and she ended up letting out a muffled stammer.

Her heart was beating a thousand per hour, he grazed his lips from the crook of her neck to the back of her right shoulder, the instant she felt his moist lips on her bare skin, a memory crossed her mind, ¿What was that?. I wore a navy-blue robe with a red maple leaf pattern on it. After drinking a lot, Natsu took me to the bathroom, and then... ¿How could I forget about that?, her mouth opened slightly and her mind went blank. She did notice the changes on her body during the training trip on Akane Beach, but she had attributed everything to the excess of alcohol in her body, the fatigue and finally the second origin spell forced by Ultear afterwards, not to mention that she was drunk and sort of drugged due to a spell, but it was not enough excuse to have completely forgotten about it, ¿Did he remember what happened that day? If so, ¿Why didn't he say anything? ¿Was he suffering in silence? Or worse, ¿Did he not care?, her heart stirred more than before and her whole body stiffened.

Until she felt a sting of pain on the back of her shoulder, it was really not painful, rather, a fiery sensation, bordering on pleasant, a hickey. The dominating way he held her, almost expressed that she belonged to him. He released her from his grasp, her weak legs barely held her up, full of embarrassment, she covered her face with both hands, "¿Did you know?", he paused, "¿That like the scent of vanilla and strawberries impregnated on your skin, there is nothing like it on this earth?", he said.

Her eyes widened, ¿Sappy words?, she thought to herself, then, she lowered her hands and looked at him surprised, he walked towards the guild entrance, his eyes had returned to normal, "you...", she pressed her lips together, "¿Why?", she asked dumbfounded.

The sly-grin plastered on his face somehow made him look cheeky, he looked at her with sultry eyes ¿Was he being coquettish with her? She just couldn't figure it out, "you know why, now let's kick their ass ¡I'm fired up!", he replied bumping his fists into each other.

Lucy didn't really know the reasons, however, she was unable to refrain from the happiness that invaded her heart, almost out of control and bumping crazily, she felt like her heart would leap out of her chest. She had right in front of her the man of her desires, of her follies, the man for whom she had defied her destiny so many times, the only man who had the power to save her heart or destroy it completely.

And there he was, standing before her, reaching out his hand towards her. It made her remember their first meeting in Hargeon Port and their reunion after Natsu's training in Crocus City. As was customary, Lucy had always answered in the same way every time Natsu had invited her to come along with him. She smiled widely and nodded in agreement making a funny sound with her nose, "¡Nnn!".

She picked up the short loose cape-sleeve and the wizard saint badge-pin and put them back on. She ran towards him, they both opened each door of Fairy Tail guild, Happy came flying towards Natsu's chest, he hugged him tightly, "Natsuuuuu", he said crying.
