Chapter 19. Blood Tear

Lucy was still on her knees enjoying the sensation that blossomed inside her until an almost imperceptible tremor covered Magnolia City, she got up worried and looked at the sky, the red moonbeams intensified, "¡There is no time for this!". She extended her right hand releasing a golden bulb light and chanted the spell, "Open up, maiden and lion gate, Virgo, Loke", right after Loke and Virgo appeared in front of her.

They threw themselves at her and hug her, making her eyes widened in surprise, "¡Please dont keep putting your life at risk!", Loke said as they released her and looked at her eyes, "I am saying this to you, in the name of all spirits".

Tears of joy rolled down her cheeks, she had spent so much time feeling despised during the past months, that knowing that there were people genuinely caring for her, filled her with happiness, "I won't do anything reckless from now on, ¡I promise!". She wiped her tears, "Loke, come with me to the Magic Council and Virgo, go The Underworld and bring Hades to us, a war is coming", right after, they parted ways.

Meanwhile, Natsu was heading back to his house, when he spotted Lisanna on the road, "¿What do you want?".

Lisanna didn't dare to look him in the eye, shame consumed her, "I want to do what is right. I want you to know, that I have really loved you all this time", she sighed, "my biggest dream was to become your wife, it took me a long time to understand that it would not happen", she looked at him with determination, "¡I give up! I give up my dreams with you today, to start a new life without you in it from now on. Maybe, one day...", she sighed again and looked at the sky, "we can really be good friends, and I hope you can be happy with Lucy, you guys deserve each other".

Natsu looked carefully at Lisanna, first with wariness, until he realized her eyes were red and swollen from crying, a few minutes ago he had experienced a moment that required a lot of courage, therefore, he could imagine what Lisanna was going through, "I hope you can find your own happiness soon", he gave her his toothy grin to comfort her, "It's all in the past Lisanna, nothing will change that you are my best childhood friend", Lisanna bowed slightly, unable to refrain her tears any longer, she ran away.

Lucy took the last train along with Loke towards Era City, "So... ¿You and Natsu huh?", Loke said mischievously.

She glared at him, "¡Loke you... sneaky lion!", she replied pouting.

Loke giggled, "¡Oh, come on!".

She blushed, "Well, he invited me to take a trip with him, moreover, he made it clear that he and Lisanna are just friends, but what stunned me, is that I realized that Natsu is not dense at all. You know, when I imagine all those moments in which Natsu acted with indifference upon an awkward situation, I can't stop thinking that he was acting thickly, and now I just want to be swallowed by the ground", she said fidgeting with her fingers with an extensive blush on her face.

"I'm glad to know that all your pain and effort is finally being rewarded", Loke patted her head and encouraged her to walk towards her happiness. Once they arrived in Era City, they looked for a place to rest. The next day, Lucy wore the white attire given by the Magic Council as a gift, and headed to their headquarters.

Lucy and Loke entered the hall of the Magic Council, just in front of them were Warrod and Jura, who immediately welcomed her back. She smiled sheepishly and asked them to come together in order to report what happened on Mount Olympus.

While she waited for them to reunite and the arrival of Hades, she sat down on the chair designed for her on the council, then, she explained that Hades was an ally of them, who would join their cause. They understood that they would need as much help as possible, so they were disposed to receive those whom were willing to lend a hand, therefore, when Jellal offered to help, he was welcomed back to the council, moments after their approval, Hades arrived along with Virgo and Lucy began explaining, "Mount Olympus is a powerful weapon, I could not destroy it, even with all my power, however its energy has been balanced, but...", she paused, "that will only help us if we can return the island to its original form".
