Missing a Butterfly She Never Met
Can't figure her feelings at all
Missing a butterfly she never met, is it possible?
But the emptiness in her eyes is telling the truth
More so, the unshed tear that's screaming nothing but soothA supposedly butterfly died, she can only mourn
T'was brutally killed despite still being in a cocoon
They robbed it's chance to see the beauty of the horizon
Only with a petty reason that they still can't provide the yearning creature an expensive lawnToo much contact with the flowers, they shouldn't done that
Playing excessively in the garden, but ended up not ready for the aftermath
Hypocrites, they are selfish irresponsible butterflies which didn't even repent
Because if they've done otherwise, she wouldn't be missing a butterfly she never metAuthor's note: This poem was written with an intention to convey a message regarding decision making. Please, refrain from being reckless. Think a lot of times before you decide to do things that might hold you responsible upon taking action on it. More so, don't do something out of impulse when you're still not ready with the consequence of your action. Of course, spontaneous shits are cool but a good decision making before doing something serious is the greatest of 'em all. You might not understand the moral of the poem, otherwise, you will know what I'm saying is vitally important. Be safe everyone, both literally and profoundly. Thank you!
