Chapter three: The Twins

Another night of barely sleeping came over Sophia.

She couldn't stop thinking about the moment she had with Ivy.

It kept running through her mind like an endless loop and it was driving her crazy.

And on top of all of that her mom was pregnant, she was going to be a big sister.

Sophia woke up in the morning and quickly headed to her parents room.

When she saw them both asleep she decided to make some breakfast, although her father couldn't eat it she wanted to do something nice for her mom to show her how excited she is.

After going circles through the entire kitchen she had the table ready, she must have made a lot of noise because her parents got down the stairs minutes later.

"Soph is everything o-" "What's all this?" Wanda asked.

"Well I know that you can't do much because of the pregnancy so I wanted to do a little something for you"

Wanda smiled at her daughter and embraced her in a hug "Thank you bubs this is amazing" Sophia smiled as she pulled away from the hug.

"You cook better than me kiddo" Vision said as he messed with her hair.

Wanda took a bite from the food and chuckled "Oh she definitely do"

"Hey!" Sophia chuckled as they all sat at the table.

"So honey, what about Ivy? Any plans for today?"

"I- uh I don't know haven't talked to her yet" it was true Sophia really haven't spoken to Ivy since yesterday and to be honest she was too scared to.

"So what do you say about getting started with the nursery?" Vision asked

"Sure let's do it"

As they all got up Vision took a glance at Wanda "Whoa, Nelly! Have you gotten bigger?" "Have I? I can't tell from this angle" "I think this pregnancy will be quicker than we expected" Sophia said while laying a hand on her mothers belly.

The family started to prepare the nursery for the upcoming baby.

"Nothing to worry about outside of morning sickness, mood swings, aching back and... Feet. Darling, you should probably sit down"

"Don't be silly. All I feel is excitement, happiness, and... Oh!"

"Kicking? Already? Wow!"

"Oh, it's such a strange sensation. It's kind of fluttery"

"Wanna feel it honey?" Wanda asked, Sophia nodded and placed her hand again on her mothers belly.

"Well, if that was the first kick, that puts you at about six months! Boy, oh, boy, I thought I had super speed. I can't keep up. Please don't misinterpret. I can't wait to meet you, little Billy"

"Billy?"   "Yeah"

"Well, I was thinking Tommy. Just a nice, classic, all-American name"

"Hmm, Tommy. Hmm, yeah. Yeah. Then there's Billy, isn't there?"

"Sorry dad but I have to agree with mom on that"

"Oh you're picking sids now, I see how it is"

"Well, I guess there's only one solution to this debate. Hope for a girl"

"Another girl, really mom?"   "I won't mind another mini me running through the house"

"Or a mini me!" Sophia said with a chuckle
