Chapter forty eight: The new recruit

It's been a couple of days since they moved into the new compound, Natasha has been helping Yelena with her nightmares and they all are helping Wanda with the twins.

"Tommy, don't you want to go to sleep?" Wanda said as she rocked him gently in her arms

Billy began crying out of nowhere and Wanda sighed

The twins wouldn't let her sleep at all, except for a couple of hours at night, she was exhausted.

"I got him!" Ivy said as she ran and took Billy in her arms making Wanda smile, "Thank you" she whispered as both of the twins started to calm down.

Wanda and Ivy both laid the twins in their cribs, Wanda placed a baby monitor near them and walked out of the room.

She sighed heavily, "Thanks" she said sweetly

"It's nothing, i'm always here to help if you need me Wanda" Ivy said

"Where's Sophia?" "Sleeping, I woke up and heard the twins crying, I figured you could use some help"

"I'm sorry, did they wake you up?" "No, no I was already up, It's okay"

Wanda smiled, "Go back to bed, it's too early"

"I will, you too, you need to get some rest" "I will, well until the twins wake up again" Wanda chuckled

"Sophia and I can babysit them today, so you can rest"

"Yeah, that would be great thank you" Wanda hugged her

Ivy was pretty shocked and Wanda pulled away, "Oh sorry I-"

"No, it's okay I was just surprise, you can hug me if you want to"

Wanda smiled awkwardly and hugged her again, when they pulled away Ivy smiled at her.

"I'm gonna go back to bed" "Okay"

"See you later"

Ivy walked back to Sophia's bedroom, she had her own room but she always prefers sleeping in Sophia's bed.

She climbed back into bed and wrapped her arms around Sophia, Sophia snuggled into her neck as soft mummers left her lips making Ivy smile.

"Baby" she mumbled sleepely, "Shhh, go back to sleep my love i'm here"

"M'kay" she mumbled before snuggling further into her neck.

A couple of hours later Ivy woke up to soft kisses on her face, her eyes fluttered open and a big smile grew on her face when she Saw Sophia on top of her.

"Good morning" Ivy said as Sophia straddled her lap, she began to kiss down her neck making Ivy giggle, "You know i'm ticklish"

"Sorry" Sophia said with a giggle

Sophia moved her head out of Ivy's neck to look at her beautiful green eyes.

She leaned down to peck her lips a couple of times until finally kissing her deeply, "Good morning to me indeed" Ivy said making Sophia giggle

"You're enjoying this too much" "How can I not?"

"Good morning my love" Sophia said sweetly

Ivy smiled, "What is the plan for today?"

"Well, we both have training with Tasha and Lena, Oh and the new teammate is supposed to be here today right?"

Ivy nodded, "Yes, oh and I kinda got us on baby duty so your mom can sleep"
