Chapter forty three: Moving on

A week later Sophia started to feel better already, her 18th birthday was 3 days ago.

Although she was still injured and could barely walk, she had a good birthday. She spent it with all of her loved one's, Even Natasha and Yelena's parents, Melina and Alexi came to visit for the 3rd time. They wanted to see Natasha as much as they could after they heard she was alive.

Sophia and Ivy grew closer to each other in the last couple of days, they slept in the same room, they talked to each other about everything and anything, it really felt like old times.

Sophia woke up in the morning with Ivy next to her, she took her time to scan Ivy's soft features. Her soft skin, soft pink lips, her brown wavy hair, her long eyelashes, everything about her made Sophia's heart flutter.

Ivy groaned as she started to stir awake, she slowly opened her eyes, her green one's locking with Sophia's. "It's rude to stare you know" Ivy said in a raspy voice

"I'm not starring" Ivy smiled, "Whatever you say"

"Good morning" Sophia said sweetly

"Good morning, did you sleep okay?" Sophia nodded, "Yes, no nightmares" She said proudly

"I'm glad, how long have you been up?" "About 15 minutes"

"You've been staring at me like a creep for 15 minutes?"

Sophia rolled her eyes, "Whatever"

Ivy moved the blanket aside and got up from the bed. She stretched her arms and let out a yawn making Sophia chuckle.

"Umm, Ivy?" "Yes?" "Can you- can you help me get to the bathroom?"

Ivy smiled at Sophia's embarrassment, "You don't have to be emberest darling, of course I can"

Ivy walked over to her and picked her up, walking both of them towards the bathroom. She sat Sophia down next to the sink and grabbed both of their toothbrushes, "Here you go"

"Thank you" Sophia said before brushing her teeth.

After they were done Ivy walked and stood between Sophia's legs who was still sitting next to the sink. She brushed her red locks away from her face, their faces inches apart, "Should we go down?"

Sophia swallowed the lump in her throat and nodded, "Jump" Ivy said as she tapped Sophia's thigh. Ivy picked Sophia up and walked down the stairs.

"Good morning" Natasha said

"Morning auntie Tasha" Sophia said as Ivy placed her on the couch.

"I see you got a personal uber huh?" Natasha said with a smirk

"I would take her wherever she wants to go, she just needs to say so" Ivy said before walking into the kitchen to grab herself a cup of water.

"Easy there tiger, your cheeks are redder than you hair" Natasah teased

"I'm not blushing, it's just really warm in here"

"Whatever you say, you two clearly still have feelings for each other, get back together already it's frustrating just watching you two"

"I don't want to ruin what we have, I don't want to lose her again"

"Oh, believe me you won't, I see the way she takes care of you, she loves you Sophie"

"I love her too..." "I know" Natasha kissed her forehead

"Are you in any pain? Your burns seems to get better"

"They are, and it hurts but only a little"

Natasha smiled as they fell into comfortable silence.
