Chapter fifteen: Old friends

It's been a long time, a very long time.

Ivy didn't think it would take her that long to find the courage to confront Sophia, a week passed and then two and then a month, everyday that past felt like eternity and yet she hadn't been brave enough to face Sophia.

She would watch them everyday, hoping this will be the day she will be brave enough to talk to her but the day never came.

"Sophia" "Yes?" "Did you practice your magic yesterday?" "Yes"

"Wanna show me?" "Uhh sure"

Sophia took a few steps back "You're not going to hurt me honey"

"I know I just- never mind" "Ok here we go"

Sophia took a deep breath and in a second her mother was pinned to the ground "Mom are you ok? I'm sorry"

"I'm fine sweetie you did good" "I did?" "Yes baby, remember your powers are unique, you have a gift use it wisely"

Sophia smiled slightly "Thanks mom"

"Mom?" "Yes?" "Are we still visiting Pietro today?" The name sent chills through Wanda's spine.

"Uhh yeah, but if you don't want to we can-"

"No no it's ok, I want to" "Ok" Wanda gave her a weak smile.

The two girls made their way outside "Ok we have a jet"

"Wait, where did you get this from?" "An old friend"

Both girls got in the jet and started to head their way.

"No, no!" Ivy mentally cursed herself for not being brave enough to talk to her, and now she's gone again.

Wanda and Sophia were now in Sokovia, or more specifically whatever was left from Sokovia, it was nothing but a very large destroyed land, a graveyard and a flower fluid, no people in site.

The place looked peaceful now, no war, no killing, just silence.

"Mom" "Hmm?" "You ok?" "Yeah yeah i'm fine sweetheart"

They walked hand in hand to the graveyard and stopped by a grey gravestone

Pietro Maximoff, Son, Brother, Avenger

Wanda couldn't hold her tears back as she walked towards his grave and crouched down to kiss it.

"Hey brother" she choked on her tears "It's been a long time, I miss you"

"Remember Vision?" she smiled sadly "How you used to tease me about him?" "Well we got married" she chuckled through her tears "I guess you were right all along, I did love him"

"I have 3 beautiful kids, Sophia is right here next to me, she is beautiful, she looks just like me she kinda has your nose"

Wanda sniffled her tears back and Sophia couldn't help but smile through her tears.

"You won't believe it but I have twins" Wanda smiled "Yeah just like us Tommy is the oldest twin like you and Billy is like me"

"Billy he- he's very smart, he can read minds like me, he's kind and sweet just like his dad"

"Tommy he's just like you, super speed, every time he uses it I think of you he really reminds me of you, charming in every way"

"But I- I did something terrible and I lost them, it's my fault I didn't think this through and now they are gone, it's just me and Sophia now, and I miss all of you, I miss Vision, I miss the twins, I miss you I just want my family back"
