"Why is the fridge empty?"
Mix asked to himself in a low voice as he stared into the stark empty and shining fridge.
He let the door swing close. The sound of the front door opening resonated as Mix turned to the figure walking in.
A sweat covered Earth walked in, taking deep breaths and looking a little or more heavenly.
If not for Earth wearing a loose hoodie jacket, which was zipped up, Mix would have been aroused.
He recomposed himself with a silent breath and said, just before Earth could start chugging down the glass of water he filled from the sink.
"Why is the fridge empty, Earth?" Earth looked at him, his hand with the tumbler stopped mid air.
Then he averted his gaze as he placed the tumbler back down and leaned atop the countertop, his palms against the edge of it. He cursed under his breath as he sighed after,
"I had plans of doing grocery shopping after... I got married..."
Mix nodded, looking away, "Well then, go and shower quickly."
With creased brows, Earth looked at him, "What?"
"Go and shower quickly." Mix put slow and firm,
"Why?"
"Because you smell, you stinky sweat."
Earth gave him a sort of a done look as he took his palms off the countertop' edge,
"And because we're going grocery shopping."

He had always wanted this.

Placing the butter in the cart, he checked off another thing.
"Do you have any spices in stock?"
Mix looked back at an Earth, who looked up from the medium sized sweet corn can he was holding, at him, "Spices?"
"Don't tell me," Mix blinked as Earth gave him a rather confused look, "You don't know how to cook."
Rather than being sort of embarrassed about it, Earth said,
"Why? Don't you either?"
Mix just stared at him. He sighed then as he averted his gaze.
How did Earth manage to look so innocent and baby like when his features were as sharp as a newly made knife?
He would never understand.
While Mix walked a little forward and put in the salt, powdered pepper and cayenne in the cart, he said,
"I do know how to cook... Just I hadn't expected for you to not to know how to cook cause,"
