"Tell me about it, Haruto."

The boy fiddled his fingers as he started to swing himself, dragging his feet on the ground.

"Before that, I just have to ask you something," Haruto spoke despite being nervous all of a sudden.

Yejin nodded her head before sitting at the end of the slide that is meters away across from Haruto.

"Well, have you ever dreamt about me? Even before the day we met."

Swinging his nervousness away, Haruto remained silent after that. He patiently waited for Yejin's response.

"Well," Yejin began. "I never did─ even until now that we know each other."

Haruto let out a huff as he stopped himself from swinging. His eyes dropped on the ground, but a small smile is plastered on his lips.

"What is it that you wanted to tell me? Better tell me fast because Yedam might be worried that I am still hot home yet."

Even though Haruto doesn't want to, he needs to do it. Telling Yejin about it would make him feel at ease.

"You," Haruto mumbled.

Yejin furrowed her eyebrows as she pointed a finger to herself. "Me? What about me?"

Haruto took a deep breath before looking straight into her eyes. He could see the confusion on her eyes, and it is convincing him more.

"You always appear on my dreams, Yejin," he finally said. "You're always there, and things end up so weirdly on those dreams."

"Could you please tell me more about it?" she asked Haruto, wanting to know more.

"It is like, we are a couple on every dream that I have," Haruto briefly explained. "Always going out on a date, then bad things suddenly happen that would lead to my or your death."

Yejin fell silent, trying to process everything.

"Weird, right?" Haruto chuckled. "I mean, it is okay if we only go out on dates as a couple, but our deaths are making me insane."

"Have you ever had these dreams before we met?"

"Whoa there, that was so sudden."

"Haruto, just answer it."

The boy scratched the back of his neck. "Well, yeah," he breathed out. "Remember that time when you thanked me and I passed out at school? That was because I was so shocked to see that the girl I have been going out on dates on my dreams actually exists."

Yejin then gave Haruto a look, in which the boy did not like at all.

"Don't freaking look at me like I am some insane person here," Haruto hissed. "I can't control my dreams, okay? I consider those as nightmares."

"You don't even like me, right?"

For the second time, Haruto was taken aback by Yejin's sudden question.

"No?" the boy responded, sounding unsure.

Yejin then stifled a laugh. "What kind of answer is that? I need a specific and sure one."

"I don't like you, okay? You are not even my type."

"Good, because I don't like you too."

They both went silent after while staring at each others' eyes.

"You think this is meant to happen? Or all of these is just a coincidence?" Haruto asked.

Yejin thought for a while. "I believe that all of these is just a coincidence."

Haruto nodded in agreement, having the same answer as Yejin.

"So," Yejin began. "Can I go home now? We can talk about this some other time."

Haruto nodded his head as he stood up from the swing. "I'll walk you home," he told the girl.

"You don't need to," Yejin insisted as they walked out of the park.

"I want to," Haruto insisted as well.

"You two done talking?"

Both Yejin and Haruto froze on their tracks after hearing a familiar voice. There they saw Yedam, standing across the street.

"Are you two dating or what?" Yedam teased as Haruto and Yejin crossed the street.

"No, you got the wrong idea," Haruto defended. "I just talked about something to Yejin."

Yedam then shrugged his shoulders. "If you say so."

"Uh, Yejin," Haruto called out. "Thank you for sparing some time to listen to me. I really appreciated it a lot."

The girl only gave him a thumbs up before waving a goodbye.

"We'll get going," Yedam tells Haruto. "See you around, Watanabe."

"Alright, bye," Haruto told them before walking on the opposite direction.

As soon as Yedam locked the front door of their home, he immediately rushed towards Yejin.

"What did you two talked about, huh?" he asked Yejin out of curiosity.

"Why are you so interested? It wasn't that serious."

"Mmhmm, okay. It wasn't that serious but you don't want to tell me, alright. That's what took you so long to come home from Asahi's."

Yejin could only playfully roll her eyes at the way his older brother is acting.

"Did Asahi walk you?" asked Yedam.

"He did," the girl responded. "I mean, he always does."

"So, are you two finally dating or what?"

A smile crept on Yejin's lips, and Yedam knew what that meant.

"Hell yeah," Yedam breathed out. "Jihoon and Keita owe me some money."

"You guys did a bet on us?!"

"Sister, we always do," Yedam smiled. "Now, go to sleep and dream of Asahi─"

"Bang Yedam!"

"I wasn't kidding!"

"I hate you."

"I love you more," Yedam grinned before running up the stairs.

"He's so cute," Yejin mumbled before following his brother upstairs.
