(Y/N) walked downstairs and was spotted by Edd, who noticed the smile on her face. "You seem quite chipper today,"
Edd joked as (Y/N) sat down next to him. Edd made some space for her and took a few sips of his cola. The two stayed silent, though it was comforting for them in a way. The silence was broken as (Y/N) spoke up with a sigh, trusting Edd with what she was about to say.
"I want to talk about Tord," Edd made himself comfortable, signifying that he was listening. "I... I think I might have feelings for Tord!"
(Y/N) blurted out, her cheeks puffed out as Edd tried his best to hold back a laugh. "What made you think it wasn't obvious?"
"Huh?" (Y/N) looked up at Edd with wide eyes as she started fidgeting with the sleeve of her hoodie.
"I probably shouldn't be saying this, but," Edd scooted closer to (Y/N), placing a hand over his mouth as he whispered into the girl's ear, "I think Tord feels the same way,"
(Y/N) covered her face with her hands, getting a chuckle out of the brunette. "Want to tell me more or anything else?"
"I really like Tord, I do, but... I don't know if this is right. What if I'm just making the same mistake as before?"
Edd remembered back to when Tord hadn't left, (Y/N) and Tord were inseparable, but after the move. Everything changed. (Y/N) trusted Tord, but her past experiences held her back. No matter how badly she wanted to put her trust in Tord. "Well, that's something for you to decide,"
(Y/N) sighed, expecting those words from Edd, but not liking them. She thanked Edd for the talk, before standing up from the couch and walking to the kitchen, where she found Tom packing a few things for work. "Hey, Tom,"
Tom gave a tiny smile, greeting (Y/N). His attention strayed from his packing to (Y/N) once he noticed the troubled look on the girl's face. "Something bothering you?" he said, his voice laced with concern as (Y/N) let out a nervous chuckle.
"You always know when something's wrong, don't you, Tom," this didn't help ease Tom's nerves any more. "It's about Tord,"
(Y/N) noticed Tom's face distort into one of fury, "He didn't do anything wrong if that's what your thinking,"
Tom calmed down at (Y/N)'s words, regaining his composure as he listened to the girl continue talking about her troubles.
"I think I'm falling for him, hard," (Y/N) sat down on one of the kitchen table's chairs. Tom took a seat across from her, not caring if he would be a few minutes late to work as his number one priority was (Y/N). "And I don't know if I should go with my feelings or listen to the past!"
(Y/N) looked down at her hands, fidgeting with them as she spoke. Tom grabbed a water bottle from his bag and handed it to (Y/N), hoping to calm her, even if it was just a bit. (Y/N) took a sip of water before continuing, "What do you think I should do?"
Tom leaned back into his chair, arms crossed against his chest as he thought. "Well, I never liked the commie, but, I can see how much he cares for you,"
"How he looks at you with such love in his eyes. How he always looks out for you and your feelings. I hate to admit it, but I think that guy has fallen for you just as hard. Probably even loved you since day one,"
(Y/N) was taken aback by Tom's response. Out of all the people, she didn't expect Tom to want her to take this chance. A smile tugged at (Y/N)'s lips as she rushed over to Tom and engulfed him into a hug. Tom rolled his eyes, but hugged back anyways, glad to see (Y/N) smile again.
"I gotta get going, but (Y/N). I know you'll do what you think is best and whatever that choice might be. Whether it's moving on or... confessing your feelings to him. I'll support your decision, if it'll make you happy," Tom said before making his way out the door.
"Thanks Tom," (Y/N) whispered, feeling a bit better after her chat with Tom. Once again, (Y/N) found herself on the couch, but this time, she was with Matt. The two were playing a game of tic-tac-toe as they talked about (Y/N)'s feelings for Tord and her decision. Matt, like Tom and Edd, kept his ears open to listen to what (Y/N) had to say, but he multitasked as they played.
(Y/N) drew her 'X' on her chosen box, "I think I want to tell him, but, not right now," Matt made his move as (Y/N) began to make hers. "I don't want him to think it's too early or that I'm pressuring him to like me back,"
"What if he's liked you for a really, really long time, though?" Matt drew his circle as he spoke.
"Hm, well, a little sooner couldn't hurt, right?" Matt cheered as (Y/N) had drawn her 'X' in the wrong place, giving Matt the win.
"If you think that's better, then go for it!" (Y/N) grinned at Matt's support as she thought back to Tord.
Her decision had been made up. She would tell Tord her feelings, but not before getting a little closer to him and comforting him as she could tell he had a lot on his mind. (Y/N) thanked Matt for the support as she went back to her room to check up on Tord.
Once she reached the door to her room, she was careful to not make any sound as she opened the door. The light of the hallway flooded into her room, her eyes laid on Tord, who was sleeping soundly. Though as the light hit his face, Tord moved to the other side to avoid the light. (Y/N) smiled to herself as she closed the door as quietly as possible.
"Maybe falling in love again isn't so bad," (Y/N) muttered, holding her chest with a love-sick look in her eyes. Thinking back to the moments she had made with Tord before and all the new ones she was making now, only made her feelings for Tord grow. Though the possibility of rejection and the ruin of an amazing friendship still scared her, she was willing to take the chance for both her happiness and Tord's.
I'm so sorry that this one is so short! My mind had run out of ideas for this chapter, but I'll try my best to make it up to you guys!"
