"I'm Crazy, but you Like That"

Chapter 5

Tord had stayed in the kitchen for longer than he'd like to admit. He was too nervous to even face (Y/N), afraid of what Edd may be planning. (Y/N) on the other hand, was hanging out with Matt and Tom, all of them talking as they played a few games. The three were then interrupted by Edd, who now stood in front of them with a bag of popcorn, blankets and a movie in hand. Tom was the first to pick up on Edd's antics as always.

"Movie Night?" Edd nodded with a grin before dropping the blankets on top of the trio and walking away to the kitchen. Upon entering the kitchen, Edd noticed Tord, seeming to be in deep thought. Edd being the mischievous guy he was, gently placed the bag of popcorn on the kitchen counter before sneaking up on the Norwegian.

"Boo!" Edd yelled, causing Tord to jump out of his seat and onto the floor as a fit of laughter could be heard.

Edd's laughter continued with Tord glaring at him as he began to stand up. The sound of footsteps could be heard as (Y/N), Matt and Tom rushed into the kitchen upon hearing the harsh thud from Tord's fall. Tom's wide scleras hooded as he noticed it was Tord who had fallen while (Y/N) and Matt rushed to Tord's side and offered him a helping hand. Tord looked between the two caring people before placing his hands upon the two's as they helped him up to his feet. Edd's laughter died down as he noticed that the rest of the gang was here.

"I regret nothing," Edd stated before turning his attention to making the popcorn. (Y/N) rolled her eyes, letting out a small laugh before turning her attention to Tord, who seemed to refuse to let go of her hand as he stared at it. Tom walked up to the two and smacked Tord upside his head, knocking the guy out of his trance. He noticed that his hand was still in (Y/N)'s and pulled his hand away in an instant as a deep crimson painted his cheeks.

"What movie are we watching today, Edd?" Matt spoke up, breaking the silence that the awkward interaction had created. Edd took out a box, the title read

"Return of the Insane Pirate Zombies from Hell"

Everyone let out a cheer as they all left to the living room, well, almost everyone. Edd had pulled on Tord's hoodie, causing Tord to stumble back and get separated from the group. Edd watched as the previous trio kept walking before turning his attention back to Tord. Edd took the hot popcorn out of the microwave and threw it onto the counter as he shook his hand a bit to get rid of the slight sting he'd received from the bag.

"Why'd you pull me back?" Tord exclaimed, a little ticked off at the fact Edd had separated him from the group. Edd rolled his eyes as he grabbed the popcorn bag that had cooled by now, and poured the popcorn into a bowl. He motioned Tord to follow him, the mischievous glint in his eyes had returned, causing Tord to regret his life decisions as he followed behind Edd.

The two walked in to see the trio had taken a seat, waiting for Edd to put the movie in. Edd gave the bowl to (Y/N) and took the movie out of his hoodie pocket. He opened the DVD and pressed on the button to take the disc out, being careful to not harm or scratch the disc by mistake. After having placed the movie in the DVD player, Edd walked to the couch and gestured to Tord to take a seat next to (Y/N).

"Oh no you don't!" Tom had stood up from his seat in between Matt and Edd, making his way to Tord and (Y/N), "If he gets to sit next to (Y/N), then so do I!"

Edd sighed at Tom's overprotectiveness as Tord let out an angry huff and glared at Tom, who returned the gesture. Matt ignored the feud, as he usually did, and pressed play on the remote control. Tom gave Tord the 'I'm watching you' gesture before turning his attention to the movie. Tord sat next to (Y/N), his eyes glancing to her as he admired her.

Tord knew it was wrong for him to be feeling this way, but he couldn't help it. (Y/N) just seemed to be perfect in every way, from her personality to her voice. Tord felt someone tap his shoulder, he turned to be faced with (Y/N), who handed him the bowl of popcorn with a small smile. The boy's face flushed a bit at (Y/N)'s kindness as he returned the smile. The two shared the popcorn for a bit until Edd asked for them to hand it over.
