Normal POV:
I'm going to be honest and say I'm not entirely sure if my plan is going to work. But at the same time, I also know that if I don't do this.....everyone here is in danger.
"What do you mean 'knock her out'?!?!" I let out a small sigh. I was just getting on her good side too. I don't want to do anything that could hurt her but if I don't do this then she's in danger anyway.
"I know it sounds bad but if I don't then a lot of people will be in danger." I give her the best puppy dog eyes I can in hopes that it smoothes her anger over. She hesitates before sighing and shaking her head.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but.... Alright."
A small smile broke out in my face before I could stop it.
"You won't regret this!" Is all I get out before heading back to my equipment. I had a plan working in my head and I knew the only way to do it is to get her alone. I don't want to do it during the party but at this point I may have to. The bad part about this is that I left my staff at the house. I can't rely on its power right now so I need to figure out a way to do this without hurting anyone.
"You seem to have taken a shine to our little Amity, Miss Noceda." I'm startled from my thoughts by a voice behind me. I don't outwardly show it, however, and just look back at her.
"She is....a person of interest." Is all I say, making sure to keep my tone passive. "She has potential, more than most."
She seemed pleased with this. "She is a very intelligent child." I have to school my emotions at this, as I know for a fact that whatever is controlling her doesn't care about amity at all.
"Indeed. Yet it surprises me that none of her achievements have been displayed. I see plenty of the Twin's, yet none of the Amity's." I say it in a disappointed tone, hopefully stirring up some thoughts in her head.
"Tis a shame really, I'm sure she has plenty of them. Seeing them would have given me an idea on her skill set, I'm sure she has more talent then she shows at first glance." I rest my hand near my hip not as obvious as to show her any spell circles that may come her way, but enough to show my displeasure without seeming like it's intentional.
"Amity's awards are still in the process of being framed currently. It's taking longer than expected which is why you don't see them." She gives a strained smile, though not obvious, at the lie she tells me. I nod my head at this, a plan forming in my mind.
"I will look forward to seeing them next time my presence is required in your home, Mrs. Blight." I bow slightly as she walks away, no doubt to order someone to frame Amity's awards and things to put on the wall. I go back to tinkering with my equipment for a moment, working scenarios out in my head. The best moment to do this would be after the party is over, no more people in danger than necessary that way.
But how will I trap her is the question.
I already have the twins placing a few glyphs around the room under illusions so no one sees them, but I need Amity to get her mom the center or at least lure her there. I'll let her figure that out. My setup is complete for the final song. It's a strange song to do in a setting like this but with everything planned, it'll do perfectly. I look over the crowd and nod towards the twins, having no doubt in my mind that Amity saw it as well. Time to start the plan.
I walk up to the mic as Odalia makes her way to the center of the crowd. I have no idea what happened to get her there but it's perfect. I clear my throat and everything stops.
"It is both my pleasure and disappointment to introduce the last song of the night. I thank Mrs. Blight for the pleasure of being able to play this prestigious venue. This song is inspired by the youngest generation and, in honor of Amity Blight's birthday, I have decided to play it. I do hope you enjoy it."
