'So just go ahead and...yeah okay, that’s good you guys, stay like that, perfect.' -------------------------------------------------- It’s a photoshoot just like any other they’ve ever done except it’s not because this time it’s just Jungkook alone with Seokjin, and it makes Jungkook feel a little shy. They had started off simple enough, holding onto pretty bouquets of daisies that had reminded Jungkook of their first date, striking casual poses and stealing coy glances at each other.
Then they’d been told to stand close together, the creative director positioning their feet to get an artful shot of their pristine shoes. Jungkook jerks back almost imperceptibly when their lower bodies are pressed flush against each other for a second, as if he’d been burned or shocked, but immediately corrects his stance to comply with their instructions.
The cameraman starts snapping away and Seokjin hugs Jungkook easily, pressing his fingers into the small of Jungkook’s back to push him impossibly closer until there’s no space between them and Jungkook can feel Seokjin’s heartbeat thumping next to his own.
His entire body starts to heat up, something that has nothing to do with Seokjin’s warmth bleeding through his jumper, and everything to do with the intimacy of their position being prolonged for the cameras.
'Um—'
'Just a normal hug' Seokjin murmurs from where his head is tucked comfortably against Jungkook’s shoulder.
'No cameras, just me and you here' Jungkook laces his fingers together to hold Seokjin more firmly and confidently, relaxing into his arms as he’s done so many times before.
He still feels a tiny bit shy; hugging like this is something he and Seokjin do often, of course, but in the comfort and privacy of their dorm, or in waiting rooms backstage where there are no prying eyes.
Seokjin makes it easy to forget, though, that they’re surrounded by cameras and strangers and an entire crew of Puma employees.
The hug doesn’t last very long, it’s over before Jungkook even realizes that the shoot is wrapping up, and he finds himself reluctant to let go, so accustomed to the cozy warmth of Seokjin’s body heat.
