We met everyone else by the food and Hinata spotted me almost instantly.
"Y/n-san!" He beamed, running up to hug me.
"Hey Hinata." I chuckled, hugging him back.
We went to go get food and switched groups with Kiyoko. Then the 6 of us went to play some games.
"Ooh! Let's do the ring toss!" I beamed, looking towards the booth.
"You know that's rigged, right?" Kageyama asked.
"Come on. I still wanna try." I pouted.
"Yeah, those games just look hard." Yachi stated.
"Plus, that dog plushie looks so cute!" I smiled.
"Y/n, that dog's huge. Are you sure you want to carry that around the whole time?" Suga asked.
"Of course. I'm willing to go broke for that dog." I said, determined to win that plushie if it was the last thing I did.
"I'll win it for you!" Hinata beamed.
"You wouldn't even be able to get a ring to touch the bottles." Kags taunted.
"Yes I will! Just you watch!" Hinata said before walking towards the ring toss booth.
We followed him and watched as he made several attempts to get a ring on one of the bottles. While a lot of them ended up bouncing off the bottles, he threw one that almost went on a bottle.
"Ooh, bad luck. Wanna try again?" The lady at the booth said.
Hinata pouted.
"Told you that you wouldn't be able to win anything." Kags said.
"Well I'd like to see you try then." Hinata huffed.
"Fine." Kags shrugged.
The same thing happened and he didn't win anything.
"See? Not so easy, is it?" Hinata smirked.
"Shut up, boke. You didn't win anything either. Besides, I told you this thing's rigged." Kageyama said defensively.
"Let me try." I said stepping forward and paying the lady.
"Y/n. We shouldn't spend all of our money in one place." Daichi said.
"I don't plan on blowing all my cash here. But I have the over of God and Anime on my side, so I'm gonna win this." I said confidently.
"Um, what does anime have to do with this?" Yachi asked.
"Just trust the process." I smiled.
I picked up three of the rings and tossed them all at the same time, not bothering to aim for any of the bottles. One of the rings landed on one of the bottles in the front row, while the other two bounced off some other bottles.
"Wha- But how?" Hinata asked in awe.
"Impressive. 4 more and you can win a giant plush." The lady beamed.
I threw 7 more rings at random bottles, but only half of them actually stayed on the bottles. Realizing I only had 2 more rings left, I actually bothered to aim for the center bottle which could score me a second plushie. If I win the first one, that is. I took a deep breath but missed the shot. It felt pretty hopeless now since I only had one more ring. Besides the chances of me making the toss were really low. I flicked the ring towards the only white bottle in the middle, not taking my eyes off my target. I held my breath as I watched the ring fly. It bounced off another bottle and I sighed. But as if by some miracle, it bounced off that bottle and onto the white bottle.
"Congratulations! You can choose 2 plushies!" The lady smiled.
"Can I have the medium dog and... hmm... Yachi, which one do you want?" I asked, turning to the younger girl.
"O-oh! You can choose for me." She said with a nervous smile.
"I'll take the panda plushie." I said to the lady.
"Just give me a second and I'll get those for you." She said before walking to get the plushies.
She came back a few seconds later and handed me the plushies. I gave the panda to Yachi and she thanked me with a small blush on her cheeks.
"Here you go miss. Enjoy your afternoon!" She smiled.
"You too!" I waved as we walked off.
"Thanks again Y/n-san!" Yachi said.
"How'd you manage to win those anyway?" Suga asked.
"Like I said, I have the over of God and Anime on my side." I giggled.
"But really, I just threw most of them at random, not really caring where they went, and having fun with the game. It just so happened they landed on the bottles. The last two tosses were the only ones I aimed." I said.
"You seem to be pretty good at games. Even though that one was rigged, you made it look easy." Daichi pointed out.
"I play games in my free time, but it was mostly logic. The whole ring toss game is mostly based on perspective. Depending on where you stand, the targets look like they're in different positions. So instead of trying to focus on the target itself I just threw the rings in that direction." I explained.
"So all you have to do is throw the rings and you win?" Hinata asked.
"Yeah, for the most part." I shrugged.
We played a few more games before heading to the park exit to meet up with the others again.
