The rest of the day seemed to drag on forever. To be honest I was barely focused in any of my classes. Of course, Niko realized this and pulled me aside at lunch.
"What's up? You've been really spaced out all day." She said as we ate peacefully in the classroom.
"Oh, um, it's nothing." I blushed.
"Ooh? Youre blushing? Do you have a crush?~" She teased.
"Shut up! Someone might hear you. And besides, it's just a date. That's all." I mumbled the last part while looking away.
"Wait, seriously? You got a date? Well I'm not surprised since it's you, but still!" She beamed, grabbng my hands.
"H-hey. Calm down." I said, caught off gaurd by the sudden action.
"Who's the lucky guy? Or the lucky girl~" She smirked.
"It's no one you would know." I said, taking my hands back and looking away again.
"Try me."
"Kiyoko Shimizu." I mumbled.
"What? For real? You got one of the hottest girls in school to ask you out?" She gushed, standing up from her chair.
"Say it louder. I don't think the people on the first floor herd you."
"Sorry, sorry. But Shimizu-sempai asked you out?" She asked, still in awe.
"Yeah, I guess so."
"Lucky. I would do anything to spend time one-on-one with her." Niko sighed, slumping in her chair.
-timeskip to after school-
Niko and I were in the locker room switching out our shoes.
"I wish I could help you get ready, but I have to get to art club, so I have to get going."
"It's fine. It's not like the boys don't have practice." I shrugged.
"True. Speaking of which, how is practice with them?"
"It's great. They're pretty energetic, though Hinata seems to have endless stamina."
"Bye N/n." She waved.
I waved back and we parted ways. I waited outside of the school gate for Hinata, since we usually walk home together. But to my surprise, Kiyoko showed up.
"Hey Y/n." She smiled.
"Oh, Kiyoko. I didn't expect to see you."
She chuckled.
"Do you want me to walk you home or did you just want to meet up at the cafe?"
"Meeting up at the cafe is fine. I usually walk with Hinata and I wouldn't want you to go out of your way."
"Okay then. I'll see you at 5?"
"Yeah. See you at 5." I smiled, giving her a wave before she left.
A few seconds later Hinata came running towards me.
"Y/N-SAAANNN!"
I smiled softly in his direction.
