After the small encounter with Tsumu and Kita, I went on with the rest of my morning. I could go and meet the team later if I need to.
Afterall, why would I pass up a chance to talk to some attractive people?
Right now we were in our first practice match against Shiratorizawa. We lost the first set but won the second. The third set started off with us in the lead with the score 3-1, but now we were losing by a whole 5 points.
The whistle blew and Yams got put in as a pinch server.
"3,2, Tadashi, nice serve." Everyone on the sidelines cheered the green haired boy on, making me smile.
Tadashi's serve had clearly improved since we'd last worked on it. He managed to score us 7 points, putting us back in the lead against Shiratorizawa. When he came back to the sidelines, I ran over to him and threw my arms around him.
"Yams, that was great!" I beamed.
"I- T-thank you." He stammered.
I pulled back, still grinning before reaching up and patting his head, making him blush.
"Uwah! Your hair's so soft." I said, stars in my eyes.
"Thanks." He said, looking away, still blushing.
When I didn't say anything for a few seconds, Yams looked back at me only to find me staring at him.
"I like your freckles." I stated with a small smile.
"Heh. Thanks. I like yours too."
"Oh crap. The makeup came off." I said touching my cheek, not seeing my concealer on my fingertips.
"You shouldn't cover them up. I think they look cute." He took my hand away from my face.
I blushed lightly. No one's ever noticed my freckles, let alone complimented them.
"Okay." I said quietly.
"S-sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." He apologized quickly.
I giggled before continuing to watch the game. We won in the end even though the game ended up in a duce. When the boys got dismissed for lunch, I stayed after to talk to the coaches about what we should do for the final day of the training camp.

During lunch, Bokuto approached me, energetic as usual.
"Y/N!" He beamed, practically appearing next to where I was sitting outside the gym.
"Oh, hey Bokuto." I smiled.
"Have you seen the new team? They seem pretty cool. But not as cool as me."
"Yeah. They are pretty cool." I said, staring aimlessly at the sky.
"Watcha looking at?" He started looking at the sky with me.
"Nothing really."
"Heh. That cloud looks like a dog." He said with a chuckle after a few seconds of staring at the sky.
"It kinda does." I agreed.
Then out of nowhere, Kuroo jumped out from behind us with a bucket of water. He splashed it on both of us, or maybe he was trying to splash Bokuto, but either way we both ended up getting soaked.
"Gotcha!" Kuroo said victoriously.
"Hey! That's not fair! I wasn't paying attention!" Bokuto said defensively.
I wiped the water off my forehead and flipped my curly hair back and out of my face. It landed on my back which was already wet, so it didn't make much of a difference.
