We got back to the hotel.

She goes into the room and starts packing.
A: What are you doing?
C: After what you saw you still want me?
A: If I knew you wouldn't run I would propose right now.
C: What?
A: You heard me now come shower with me, little gangster.
That earned me a smile. The rest of the weekend was great. She let me take her shopping. I covered my tats.  So I could spend time with just her.

After spending the majority of the day just walking, talking and being normal I stop and see my jeweler.
I had him make 2 necklaces and 2 promise rings for her.
She is walking around looking and stops at a watch. I have him bag it up too.
On the way out I handed it to her.

C: Austin please, take it back. I can't wear it.
A: I'm sorry I thought that you liked it.
C: I do. It is beautiful and I wish that I could.  Just come here.

She pulls me into a corner and holds the watch.
It starts going backwards.
A: So, is that your only super power?
She laughs.
C: It's something to do with the energy my body gives off. My grandfather did the same thing. I think I'm the only grandchild that has it.
A: ok. Let's go talk to him.

We walked back into the shop.
Hey, is everything ok?
We hear from the back. I pull her into the room.

A: If you tell anyone about this I will...
Jewel: I know you will ruin me. Blah... Blah...
A: Show them what you showed me.
She grabs the watch. It goes backwards.
A: So, what can you do so that she can wear a watch like this?
Jewel: I'll have to make one that uses movement to power it  instead of a battery.
C: That is sweet, but it sounds like a lot of trouble,

I give her a look

C:You have spent too much on me today.
A: Fine, go look around, let me talk with them about the ring I ordered.

She leaves and I order the watch. They take the other one back and the charge isn't that much more.
Jewel: You better hold onto her and be nice. The others that you bring in here want you to buy them everything.  You do realize that she has never been able to wear a nice watch and she turned it down.  Hold on to her tight.
A: I know I like her.  I think I'm in love if I tell the truth.  Have you seen that happen with watches before?

Jewel: She is an empath. She can charge other people's batteries. She makes you feel calm when she is around you like you don't have a care in the world. But Piss her off and she will blow light bulbs. My wife has the same issue.
A: So, I don't need to take her to a specialist?
Jewel: No. I'm surprised she didn't tell you, but I don't think that she knows.

I walk into the main room. She is looking at her phone and is visibly. Irritated. She smiles when she sees me.
A: What's that face about?
C:Nothing, are you ready?
A: Let's go home and order food.
C: ok

On the car ride home.
C: Do they think the watch would work if they changed the power source?
A: Jewel's wife has the same problem he has to do hers that way.
C: How much would it cost? I'll pay for it.
I laugh.
A:You will not pay for it. I already ordered it.  Jewel was happy to help.  I bet you and his wife would be great friends.
C: I'm weird, people usually don't like me.
A: I like you.
C:You must be weird too.

We both laugh.
