"Ana?" Zayn was surprised to see me in his office again.

"Sorry I'm disturbing you again. I felt a little weak. Do you have any snacks? I haven't had anything to eat." I lied.

"Ana, sit down immediately. How could you be so negligent? I'll find you something to eat." He hurried towards the door, worry all over his face.

"Thanks." I called from behind.

As he disappeared behind the door, I grabbed his phone which was lying on his desk. Luckily for me, I knew his lock pattern was simply a Z. His most recent call was from Ethan's number.

Quickly, I opened his texts to see if there was any mention of Ethan's whereabouts, but there were none. "Damn." I muttered under my breath. Locking his phone again, I put it right where he left it.

He returned a couple minutes later, with a small tray of food. "Here you go, Ana. Should I order you something else?"

"This is fine. Thank you, Zayn." I gave him a closed-mouth smile.

"Take care of yourself, Ana. And don't take so much stress for no reason." There was definitely a reason behind my concern. My gut feeling wasn't wrong. Ethan really was in a difficult situation and I needed to get to him.

"You're right... I need to calm down." I said, just to provide him relief.

"I need you to track Ethan's location for me." I said to one of his employees who revered me a lot, as I sat opposite from her at her desk. It was a good thing Zayn had no business on that floor.

"But Ana—"

"Please." I cut her off.

"Isn't Mr. Woods busy in some meeting? Why do you want his location? He could get mad at me for trying to track him down." She said.

"I'm his wife and I have all rights to know where he is. No one will know you did it. Please find me his location, so I can know he's safe, and be at peace." I asserted.

She paused for a few seconds before nodding.

"This will take a bit." She said.

"Okay, please hurry. I'm waiting right here."

She worked on the task for a while before giving me a disappointing answer, "his phone is switched off currently. As for his last location, for some reason I'm unable to figure it out."

"What do you mean by that? I need you to find his location! Please try again. Keep trying until you get it!" I was getting more and more anxious by the second, maybe even losing my temper.

"Okay, Ana. I'll keep working on it."

"Please do. Let me know immediately when you learn something." I told her and she nodded her head in reply. Standing up, I decided to go to Ethan's office for no particular reason.

My eyes lingered over his desk, wishing he was there. Couldn't our lives be trouble-free for once?

My hands grasped my baby bump, rubbing it gently. "My baby, I'm gonna find dad. I'm gonna make sure he's alright. I promise."

A few files on Ethan's desk caught my eye; I indolently went to skim through them, though there was no specific purpose for me to do so. They were regarding his current project, and clearly not much of my business.

My hands seemed to have a mind of their own as they made their way to his drawer, pulling it open. Inside, a white envelope immediately caught my attention.
