izuku's life was pretty much average.

well, that's what he'd call it.

others would beg to differ. the man the ceo of the largest clothing company in japan, passed down from his father.

needless to say, izuku was rich, extremely rich. the company was worldwide and izuku kept up with it well. izuku, at the age of 25, living a dream.

though because of this obvious success, he attracted much attention. many women around the world wanted to marry or at least fuck him once.

despite it all, izuku remained single. none piqued his interests. he lived alone in his spacious home. whenever he'd gotten time away from work, he would go out just to keep his mind off of the fact that he had no one waiting for him once he returned to his bed.

sure, he could easily try to date and fill the void. though, everyone only ever wanted money. long ago he had decided that it was not going to work, and he wasn't going to act as if it did.

the last thing he'd do was get into a relationship he'd have a hard time committing to. that'd be too much stress on himself as well as his partner. but, he couldn't help but always feel boredom. he had too much free time, too much time at home, alone.

he needed something new, something exciting in his life.

and that need is the exact reason why he found himself outside of a pet shop. the idea of forming a bond with a pet bringing joy.

as izuku walked out of his car, he couldn't help but hear the chatter and snapping of photos. he looked over to see a small group of young women, giggling and blushing as he walked to the door of the average-seeming pet shop.

izuku knew this would happen, a billboard for his company was directly across the street. he only flashed a bright smile as they took pictures before walking into the shop. he could hear the excited squeals from the women outside.

a bell rang as he walked into the medium-sized store. it was well circulated from the large ceiling fan that hung above. the calming sounds of cats purring and bunnies binkying around their pins filled the air.

izuku looked around to see many cats and small dogs walking around freely. it made him smile, it was a lovely sight to see that they weren't locked up in pins all day.

he then noticed that no one was behind the counter, he knitted his brows curiously. the sign said open and the door was unlocked.

"oh my gosh, i'm sorry! i'm the only one on the clock right now and i was busy feeding the hamsters!" a young woman called, running up to the counter with a large bag of pet food in her hands, covering her face.

"haha, it's fine! i was just a little confused! i can wait a bit." izuku chuckled, leaning on the counter.

"oh wow, you sound familiar! i swear i've heard your voice somewhere." the lady giggled, still turned away from izuku, pouring dry dog food into many bowls.

"i hear that a lot," izuku replied, watching as she prepared the food quickly. the bubbly girl was short, her auburn hair about shoulder length.

the girl only giggled in response before lining the bowls up before whistling. suddenly all at once, at least dozen puppies came running towards her, falling over each other to get to the food.

the girl sighed with relief before finally turning around, dusting her apron off as she walked.

"alright, sir. sorry for taking so long-" her words came to a sudden halt, instantly freezing as she looked at the green-haired male.
