Star Wars Rebels: Family

The Lost Commanders/Part 1

Not long after the destruction Phoenix Home, the Spectres are on the run from the Empire. The rebels and Ahsoka are in one of the ships, of the Phoenix Squadron, and are in the command center.

There's a holograph of Commander Sato in the center of table and he says "The destruction of our command ship has severely limited our ability to fight the Empire in this sector.

Ezra says "Maybe we don't fight, uh Commander Sato, Sir. Uh, when things got tough for me on Lothal, I'd go find some place to hide."

Commander Sato says "You are never shy with your opinions, Ezra Bridger, but establishing a base is a good idea."

Hera says "Problem is, none of the potential bases we know of have the tactical advantage we need to protect what's left of our fleet."

Kanan says "Or aid the nearby systems suffering from Imperial oppression."

Hera says "We can't help others if we can't help ourselves, Kanan. If only we had more allies."

Ahsoka says "I know someone who might be able to help us. A great military commander with a vast knowledge of the Outer Rim. He could assist us in finding a base, and his experienced leadership would make him a powerful ally."

Commander Sato says "How do we recruit this leader?"

Ahsoka says "That's the problem. I lost track of him a long time ago, and all my transmissions have gone unanswered."

Ezra says "We can find him. Let us try."

Ahsoka says "Well, there is one option I've not yet attempted."

The rebels and Ahsoka aboard the Ghost and Zeb and Luna go to the kitchen because Luna was hungry. The Ghost detaches from the ship and jump into hyperspace. A few minutes later, the Ghost drop out of hyperspace at Seelos. Kanan, Zeb, Luna, Sabine, and Ezra take the Phantom to search for Ahsoka's friend while Hera and Chopper stay behind and repair the ship.

Sabine plugs in the tactical droid's head and says "Well, let's fire this thing up. I think it's scanning for a signal of some kind."

Ezra says "Good luck. You could really get lost out here."

Zeb says "Maybe that was the idea. What if this great commander we're looking for doesn't want to be found?"

The tactical droid chimes and says "7567. 7567. 7..."

Sabine says "It's homing in on something."

Zeb says "There. Up ahead."

In the distance, the crew sees a walker and flies towards it and they see it's a heavily-modified AT-TE walker.

Ezra says "Whoa."

Sabine gasps and says "Now, that is a work of art."

Kanan says "Looks like an old Republic tank...used during the Clone Wars."

Kanan lands the Phantom while the walker stops moving. The rebels get out of the Phantom and walk towards the walker.

Luna says, to Kanan "Dad, you okay?"

Kanan says "Not really, but be careful."

Luna nods her head yes and three old men emerge from the walker.

Zeb scoffs and says "It's just a bunch of old geezers."

Luna says "Well-armed old geezers."

One of them says "What do you want?"

Kanan says "We're looking for someone."

The man says "Well, that's too bad, 'cause there's nobody out here."
