Star Wars Rebels: Family

At dawn, Zeb, Luna, and Chopper are at the rebel base when the Spectres return in a gunship. Zeb and Luna wave at them as the gunship lands. Sabine gets out and she throws her TIE fighter pilot helmet on the ground. Zeb and Luna are confused and Sabine walks towards them.

Zeb says "Sabine? What's wrong? Sabine!"

But Sabine just continues to walk as she ignores Zeb. Zeb and Luna see Hera and Ezra emerge from the ship and they don't see Kanan come out of the ship.

Chopper goes towards Hera as Zeb says, to Ezra "All right, kid, what's going on?"

Ezra says "Kanan's gone."

Zeb says "What do you mean, gone? Like captured?"

Ezra says "No! He's gone."

Zeb and Luna are sadden, especially Luna, and Zeb hugs Ezra as Luna looks the other way and she starts to cry. The rebels walk back to the base as morning comes up.

Once the rebels are in the base, a man on the HoloNet says "The insurgency on Lothal is over. After a brazen attack on Capital City, the rebels have been crushed. Their leadership, defeated. To honor the Imperials heroes that valiantly fought to save you from these extremists, all citizens are required to attend a celebration and parade in Capital City. A new day for Lothal has begun."

Luna says "Turn it off."

Mart turns off the transmission and Ryder says "We have to contact rebel command. We need reinforcements."

Ezra says "Well,as far as Yavin is concerned, this fight is over. Mon Mothma won't commit more forces to Lothal, not after this."

Ryder says "General Syndulla. Hera, what do you think?"

Hera walks past without saying a word nor even looking at anyone.

Ezra says "She just needs time."

Ryder says "Well, we don't have time. We need a plan."

Sabine says "Well, I have a plan. The Empire's gonna have a parade? Good. I'm gonna go add some fireworks to their celebration."

Zeb says "Count me in."

Luna says "Same here."

Sabine, Zeb, and Luna leave the rebel base and they rode away on their speeder bikes. Once it's dark out, Zeb, Luna, and Sabine take turns looking through the macrobinoculars.

Zeb says "So, what do you see?"

Sabine says "Well, the parade has begun. But look at it, Zeb. Look how many people there are. Look how much the Empire has grown."

Zeb says "Isn't that why we're here? To reduce their numbers?"

Sabine scoffs and she says "We couldn't beat them with the help of the Rebel Alliance. And there are so few of us left. I mean, how can we beat them now?"

Zeb groans and he says "You don't see anything strange about the city?"

Luna says "Uh, besides the refinery being on fire?"

Zeb says "The factories aren't belching smoke. When was the last time you saw them shut down?"

Luna says "I don't know."

Sabine says "Never, but that's probably just because of the parade."

Zeb says "The Empire doesn't give days off, Sabine."

Sabine says "Huh. Now that is interesting."

Zeb, Luna, and Sabine get up from their spot and drive their bikes to the highway. Zeb knocks out a scout trooper and Zeb cracks his knuckles.
